Please help me answer this

This has been bugging me for the past 30 minutes. In the movie Circle, 14 people are remaining. They have decided to pick sides at this point and the sides are as follows:
Long haired guy, black guy, "husband", "wife", pornstar vs one arm guy, army guy, cancer survivor, girl, pregnant lady, and Michael with the lesbian, silent guy, and the minister abstaining.
However, the one armed guy dies. Even if the lesbian voted, it would at least be a tie, and I know none of them changed their stance last minute on the one armed guy's side. So how did he die?

Im pretty sure if its a tie twice the death was randomized between the nominees

if it's a tie twice they both die. the problem is there was no tie to begin with islandsurvivor
