At first, I had no idea what I was doing? What was I in for? I didn't think Stars would be sooo stressful, and for my first time playing, I've made the finals. I came in with no one, and I did all I can, coming into this game as a newbie.
I couldn't be more grateful to the people who've voted to save me, and I'm thankful to have made it this far. At first I did tend to play both sides of the house, usually voting with Jake. But then something I felt, well how can Jake betray Brenn? I was told he was in an alliance of 6 people, so how would I have known? I played brave moves, and decided something needed to be done. I had no alliance, so I was ready to pull something out of the bag soon. So, I did tell alegeeter, as I wasn't sure where he was at, people said he was with Jake, other's didn't. So I thought, well something has to be done about this or else the two-time stars winner is going to make it three. I asked Jake if he wanted me in the final 8, which he responded 'yes' to, at the same time I was aware he was lying, he would do anything for me to vote with him. I showed Aligeeter proof that he was lying to him as well, and the the voting changed.
I made brave moves in the game, and Irvin began targeting me in the final four. Alegeeter told me about his alliance with Irvin, and I would go up for the chop. So somehow, Jensa posted saying something along the lines of "Irvin and Alegeeter are working together, goroos and bowler vote them out". So that didn't do the either of them any good, and Alex came on AIM telling me about plans to remove Irvin, so he could stay. I had to think on it first, but I did tell him: "how could i trust you when you told me I was going up?" So, I knew that the two nominees (Bowler/Jensa) were nominating Irvin and Alegeeter. Irvin then tells me he is keeping me safe, so I decided, right. I'll vote to nominate Irvin and the person who doesn't survive the eviction (Jensa) so my vote goes to waste. Either way, Alegeeter would go up against Irvin if it was a tie, as he’d already been receiving lots of negs, so I was sure I’d be safe come a tiebreaker. Bowler has also done well to make it into the final 3.
I’m in the final 3, and for a first-time-player, I couldn’t be more grateful to making it this far. And a special call out to the people keeping me safe from be evicted. People seem to think that I don’t deserve to win, well I’ve done something right to make it to the finals. This Stars was more about PM’ing games, hence the game is probably going to be the lowest posted-in Stars game as the game’s first preference was PM’s.
Stars is quite stressful, but I’d be happy to do it all over again. It’s also time-consuming, takes up loads of energy. Regardless what placing I finish I’ll be happy. I’ve survived two evictions and done all I can to make it this far. My main aim in stars was “Whatever you do, don’t get evicted first” which I did. I challenged myself to make the final 10, and I did. But I’m stoked and after this I’ll be happy to be on Level Blue. I consider myself the underdog, so I’m happy with however I position.
