Big Brother and online Hunger games.

electraviv and I joined forces to come up with tips to help people out with their shops. Many of you get shops for the first time and aren't sure what and what not to do and they end up being disasters.. so here are a few tips to help :)

1. Upload the designs you plan to post before you actually get your shop. If you upload each design right before you post in your shop, you will get steals because people are able to monitor the designs page to see when new things are uploaded.
*When you upload your designs, make sure you center it properly.. not a necessary thing to do but it's better when the thumbnail pics don't look ugly*

2. Because autorefreshers can be used on shops to help individuals steal (you can insert a word such as 'Buy' or 'Sold: 0' and it constantly refreshes the page and alerts when those words appear on the page), put a code in the description of your shops so autorefreshers can't be used.
***A tip is to not only include the typical code, but to also include the titles of the designs and the designers' usernames since it's simple to find out who uploaded what***

3. Check to see if common stealers are online or not.
***Viv tip: Post at times when there's not many people online. Don't post at times like 6pm EST because there's tons of people online***

4. Try to space out when you gift because if you post 1 or 2 times in a row, people will expect you to post again. This one is self explanatory.
***Viv tip: You should make sure your gifting chats are well organized and go quickly because if people are in there for like 20 minutes, they get bored and careless***

5. Be careful of who you ask to help gift. If you've never seen someone gift before, chances are they're not a good person to add to your gifting chat. You can more than likely have some friends gift or ask people that you've seen gift for many people because they probably won't swipe the design instead of gifting who they're supposed to.

6. 2 mistakes many people make are double-posting and not posting the correct number of stock. Before you pound that send button to post, make sure you have the stock number set correctly and be sure to only click the send button once. No one wants to accidentally post 5 or 6 extra of a design because that's just a waste.

Hope these help you all!
