How things have changed (kinda long)

November 6, 2008 by insanetechno
Things have changed drastically since it began. I took a break from playing tengaged because I felt it had become to repetitious and I was playing with the same players over and over. Also having players who have no life experience and are sheltered from the real world was extremely hard for me to speak to.
I am a huge Big Brother fan, so when I heard about tengaged, I was excited to play. Meeting new people from across the country was cool too. Learning about peoples' backgrounds that is different from mine really fascinates me. After playing a couple of games, I met some really cool people. REAL ONES NOT ALIAS'. But as more people joined the community, I became a little annoyed with alias' and the IMMATURE pre-teens, that think personally attacking you over the internet will chase you away from the game. Whats the deal with that? lol. Honestly, what is the point of personal attacks? I know, I know. It makes for great reading if your viewing the game.
I know how Big Brother is played. You have to do a lot of evil things to stay in the game. But its an internet game, not the real thing. So I see the personal attacks you dont' know what they really look like, who they really are, is really unnecessary. A smart player can win this game without the personal attacks. I know people who have.
So I took a long break and recently came back. I came back for the reason of all the new things that are happening to the site. I checked in periodically to see how my friends were doing in their games. It is pretty exciting to see so many people. I think it must have tripled in the past few months. Whether everyone is really who they say they are and not playing as two or three people, remains to be seen. I suppose I've come in as a newbie this time around. The hardest part is trying to deal with the immature players. The ones who just give everything you say a negative because they dont' know you, dont' want to get to know you etc. They'll call you names 'cause they are already in an alliance and dont' need you. I suppose that's acceptable but what happens when only your alliance remains in the game? Only one person wins, not all of you. Immaturity is something I hate, but unforunately I have to deal with it. I consider myself a very mature player. I don't take the game personally. And when you keep telling me I'm next or dont' waste my breath or log off cause you dont' have a chance, or my favorite, "GO KILL YOURSELF FUCKER" when you don't even know me, it doesn't hurt me. It makes me laugh because people actually think I'm going to do exactly that. So what if i am an outcast. So what if I dont' have a chance in winning. So what if I'm not in your alliance. My response is who cares? Immaturity will eventually bite you in the ass.
I love tengaged and big brother!! I'm looking forward to playing with everyone and all the things to come to this community.
