(Present) Greg is trying to calm Anthony down, “they killed my brother, I am not gonna sit around here I'm gonna kill every single one of them”, Greg explains “Michelle has gone to infiltrate them, we can't do anything until she is in position” at the Safe Haven Cassie is upset over Doug leaving without saying goodbye to her, she goes to see Alberto and he tells her that it'll be ok, she goes to kiss him but he backs off, “Cassie you know I'm with Stacy now, you can't be doing this any more” Cassie storms out angrily, Oscar and Mark are heading out on a run, Katy wants to join them, she tells Mark “I just wanna keep an eye on Oscar”, Jill sits down with Annie, she talks to her about what they should do if Greg attacks, “I'm not gonna let him get you, even if I die trying”.
(Flashback) Oscar and Stacy are walking through the woods, “are you sure they are this way” Oscar asks her, Stacy tells him that she is sure, they continue walking when they hear a noise, Oscar calls out for his brother and father, they get around to see it is a small herd of zombies, Stacy tells him to head back and they start to run, as the do they realise they were being followed by a group of zombies as well, they make it out of the woods and hear a voice say “Over here” they run towards a building and get inside, the two people inside it shut the doors behind them, it Daniel and their father, Oscar and Daniel hug and their father tells him that he is happy to see him alive, they all head back to the Safe Haven together.
(Present) Taylor and Greg are in his tent, she wants to talk about their kiss, she also tells him about Zakhai kissing her “I'm not a jealous man, and you are a grown woman, you can make your own decisions” he tells her, she kisses him, Alec goes to see Zakhai and explains that he is here to help and that tonight both he and Taylor need to be ready to escape, Alec leaves the tent just before Taylor makes her way back, Alec goes to see Greg who thanks him for saving his life yesterday, Alec tells Greg “I know what kind of operations Thomas would be doing, and that if there are prisoners I'd like to speak to them” Greg asks him why “While I was out there I had a altercation or two with some groups, to which they stole some things for me, I just wanna see if they are the ones who did it” Greg radio's Anthony and tells him that Alec is gonna head down to the prisoners and take watch. As Anthony leaves Alec approaches the cells, Sean looks at him and says “If you guys are gonna kill us then just do it, sitting here waiting to die is more torturous than anything you have done to me” Alec looks at them and says “I'm with your brother Scott” Sean, Talia and Ruby stand up and look at him “we have a plan to set you free and it's going down tonight, can you guys run?” he asks them, Sean tells him “Yes”, back at the Safe Haven Scott approaches Christian and Jake, he asks them if they are ready “we gotta wait until Jill is distracted otherwise she will try and stop us”.
(Flashback) Oscar, Daniel and their father get back to the Safe Haven, everything seems to be going fine, they are a family again, after about two weeks Oscar is chatting with Stacy about Cassie when he notices his father climbing the back fence, he tells Stacy he needs to go and she heads back to Alberto's house, Oscar follows his father over the wall.
(Present) Oscar, Mark and Katy make it to a small town, Oscar tells them that there is a small pharmacy and a small general goods store that have a few zombies in them but should be full of good supplies if they can take them out, they decide to go to the Supermarket first, they open the doors and start making noise, slowly the zombies begin leaving the building and they stab them all in head as they exit, Steven goes to see Jill and Annie, he tells her that he can see that she is scared, she denies being scared but Steven tells her “I was at war remember?, I've seen that look in so many faces, they try to keep it from taking over but there is nothing they can do to stop it, the fear will eventually overcome them, unless somebody is here to help”. Jill admits she is scared and thanks him for what he said, she kisses him on the cheek, Jill walks away to check on Annie, Steven watches her walk away before heading to the gate to stand guard, Melissa and Kimmy are inside Melissa house, the furniture has been pushed to the sides and Kimmy takes a swing at Melissa, Melissa counters it and knocks her to the ground, “again” she tells her, Kimmy gets up and attempts another swing but same results, “AGAIN” Melissa yells at her, Kimmy begins to get angry and tries again, but is knocked down once again, “that right there is what is wrong with you” Melissa says, Kimmy tells her “I is just starting and to go easy on me, getting my arse kicked isn't gonna make me stronger it's gonna piss me off” Melissa tells her “you emotions are what are making you weak, you wanna do good for your mother, you wanna make Daddy proud, you wanna protect your sister but the only way to survive in this world is to not let your emotions take over, you care about people too much and that is what will get you killed, now again” Kimmy takes another swing.
(Flashback) Oscar follows his father to a bridge, he sees his father talking to Greg, he gets close enough to remain hidden but hear what is happening, “you need to make sure it happens, I need somebody I can trust to take over the Safe Haven and remember nobody can catch you doing it or they won't trust you” Greg tells him, Oscar's father replies “you have nothing to worry about, I can kill Alberto before anybody notices, Oscar runs back to the Safe Haven to warn Alberto, as he gets close his father confronts him about what he is doing outside the Safe Haven, Daniel can see from the gate that Oscar is yelling at their father and heads down to road to find out what is happening, Oscar tells his father that he won't let Alberto die because he is a good person, his father lunges at him with a knife and Oscar pushes him back, his father falls and hits his head on a rock killing him, Daniel arrives at the scene and sees Oscar standing over his fathers body, Oscar tries to explain but Daniel believes that Oscar killed his father for no reason, Daniel grabs his things and leaves, he is walking down a road when Greg finds him and tells him about his father, Daniel joins Greg.
(Present) Oscar, Katy and Mark head over to the Pharmacy, and do the same thing they did before, Oscar wants to stand out front and guard, Katy tells Mark she'll start grabbing so stuff and that he should talk to Oscar, Mark asks Oscar “I know you don't want to talk about it but what happened between you and your father, you told Katy that you killed him to save Alberto but you didn't tells us how”, Oscar explains “Greg had gotten to him, my father, I don't know how or when but he had fallen under Greg's spell, I think Greg believed it would have been easier to have one of his own running the Safe Haven then having to go through a situation like we are in now, I saw them talking and came back to tell Alberto when he came at me with a knife, I pushed him back and he hit his head on a rock and died, Daniel found me and didn't want to hear what I had to say, he just left” Mark tells him he is sorry, Oscar asks for a minute alone, Mark heads inside to Katy where she puts something in her pocket, she hugs him and tells him she loves him, they continue to fill their bags, outside Daniel comes out of the woods and confronts Oscar about their father, Oscar explains he never meant to kill him, Daniel tells him that Greg is a better leader than Alberto will ever be, Oscar tells Daniel that he has a chance to come back to the good side and warns that Greg is a murderer, Daniel replies “Like you” and lunges at him with a knife just like his father did, Oscar kicks the knife out of the way, and they begin punching each other on the ground, Oscar keeps restraining himself and tells Daniel “I don't want to kill you” Mark hears the fight outside and tells Katy to hide in the back of the Pharmacy, Oscar and Daniel continue fighting, Oscar has Daniel in a head lock and Daniel manages to grab a broken bottle and stabs Oscar in the eye with it, Oscar lies on the ground screaming in pain, Daniel stands over Oscar with his knife, but he can't do it, he can't kill his brother, Mark leaves the building and shoots at Daniel who manages to escape to the woods, Mark grabs Oscar and carries him inside, he calls out for Katy to come help him but she doesn't come, Mark heads to the back where the back door is wide open, and there is blood on the ground, he looks out the back door and screams “KATY”, outside the Army Base, Scott, Christian and Jake stand watch, preparing to attack.

Daniel can only change sides if Oscar can forgive him for stabbing him in the eye, that's how I see it. If he resents his brother now I think Daniel is a gonner. Daniel was the distraction is my guess, someone nabbed Katy from the back. Melissa is right, it's hard but the faster you learn these things the more likely you are to live. If you in the midst of training and something happens and you mess up it's over.
