Even tho i quit tengaged several weeks ago, i did hear about the bannings from Eric and several others. I don't really condone or condemn the action, tho i gotta admit that i did think it was rather funny.
In perspective, it didn't hurt anyone, and took only a few minutes to reinstate the banned people and go back to "normal". I wasn't around to watch the drama unfold, but it seems like it brought a few hours of excitement to a website that has become not so much fun any more as it was a few years ago.
I told myself i wasn't gonna get sucked back into this place, and not even sure where i was going with this blog, just wanted to put in my two cents.
Anyway, don't let tengaged consume you, have some fun here and don't take it too seriously, it's a game site. So now that being said .... i'm back to tengaged retirement :)
You do realize he made several people who were advancing in shops (who paid tons of money for that shop) not advance correct? And gave Brookie's shops T$ so she could. So yeah, it did hurt some people.
That's all good, the games and bans don't bother me but don't you think it's a little creepy that he unbanned someone who apparently posted child pornography, and another who is considered a predator?

Actually, it took moderators a few hours to unban everyone, and they still dont have everyone that was supposed to be banned banned. Its not back to "normal" because people lost shops and designs, that can't be undone, some spent several hours spamming to get a design to top just to have it deleted? To call it back to normal is just ignorance.

well dools did lose his shop and lost t profit so as for the site... he lost money and potential profit down the road. also cost survivor tribes wins and people getting voted out that shouldn't have. now of course this does no matter in the course of everyday life outside of tengaged but concerning tengaged, many users were negatively affected by the banning.
Your protecting your little worm as you always did and you should be ashamed of yourself. Please don't come back if you think it didn't hurt anyone because your wrong. What your little moronic friend needs is his arse kicked.
tbh you think its funny and no harm was done because you were friends w/ him, and he didn't do anything to your account. there's really nothing funny about fucking with a site that someone dedicates their time/effort to. he had no right to do any of that, and if you were one of the 200+ users who were banned, you'd have a problem with it.
Sure it was funny, but can you really tell me that it was mature? And respectable?
There are plenty of things that are funny and immature,

Also, the fact you said not to take things to seriously.. I think you need to talk to Eric, there hunny, he spent 9 hours messing up a site that he supposedly "didnt care for"

I think this site should be fun yes....
But ALSO this site is not a part of our actual lives, it is separate.
Which means that achievements relevant to the site are important to people.
This attitude annoys me so much.
Like OBVIOUSLY we all have lives separate to this.
If everyone on here didn't take any part of the site seriously, it wouldn't work

All this was caused by Eric's overreaction. And for someone who wanted to leave the site cause it was so shit, he spent his day asking people to post designs with his avatar on to "be remembered"
kavalle, tbh, i was a little amused by it as well, but that was probably because i wasn't affected by it and got to see myself in the hof ;)
i'm not saying it was a good thing to do, idk why he decided to do it, but... it was only for a few hours. i mean, even if i had been banned, is it really the end of the world if you end up loosing a few checks in a castings?
now messing with peoples designs and shops...idk if i really like that idea as people do put a lot of time and sometimes even real money into that.
