The simplicity of this is what makes it a beautiful song. It's just constructed with 2 vocals and one guitar, one chord per phrase, but it still captivates me. I remember calling it fantastic when I first heard, I still think it is :)
29. Peter and the Wolf - "Chemistry Set", submitted by #Qwert2, in TSC 120, placed 1st with 106 points (12 points given)
That chorus gets me everytime. I mean that violin comes out of nowhere xD It has standard vocal for a folk song but the music is very sweet and moving, still one of the best folk songs entered in TSC.
28. John Newman - "Love Me Again", submitted by tepr in TSC 126, placed 1st with 149 points (12 points given)
He has a weird but great voice. This is still his best song yet, very powerful but still enjoyable, amazing chorus. One of my favorite songs to sing at the karaoke :p
27. George Ezra - "Budapest", submitted by #BlueStar in TSC 163, placed 8th with 73 points (10 points given)
This song is unique in many ways. It's folksy, but it's also bluesy. He also has a very distinct, soulful tone, definitely one of my favorite male singers. His other works are brilliant but this is arguably still his best work.
