#45) Work From Home- Fourth Harmony ft. Ty Dolla $ign (#4 Peak, 16th Best-Selling Song of 2016)
Link:

Fifth Harmony are one of the biggest artists in the music business. As a teen girl group, their sound was light, poppy, but quite standard. With Work From Home, Fifth Harmony became the artists they wanted to be: mature, yet accessible to younger audiences. Their video was the most watched video of 2016 with more than a billion views.

#44) Kill Em With Kindness- Selena Gomez (#39 Peak)
Link:

While it wasn't Selena's biggest hit to date, Kill Em With Kindness is one of her strongest hits. She uses lyrics full of morals and values and delivers them with a memorable and club-ready beat. Kill Em has confidence and finesse, two things that a lot of pop stars today miss.

#43) Not That Kinda Girl- Fourth Harmony ft. Missy Elliott and Camilla Cabello (Did Not Chart)
Link:

Back to the topic of maturity, they keep it going throughout 7/27 until their final track, Not That Kinda Girl. With a girl group sound and feel, they sing about independence and not needing a man.. with the addition of Missy Elliott, who's the best female hip hop artist ever in my opinion. It's a phenomenal closing track to their album, one that will make you remember them.

#42) Genghis Khan- Miike Snow (Did Not Chart)
Link:

Genghis Khan, by Swedish indie band Miike Snow, shows that they have what it takes to make it big in the industry. A song about possession of a loved one, it features a delightful, political and campy video with homosexuality and cheating. While it may mot have been a mainstream hit, you might hear them on your Top 40 radio soon.

#41) The Greatest- Sia (#18 Peak)
Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GKSRyLdjsPA

Another song influenced by Caribbean production, instrument, and beats, The Greatest was the follow up single to her smash hit Cheap Thrills. The song and the video have been connected to the Pulse massacre, where more than 50 LGBT people were shot in a nightclub. Her touching song and powerful video starring Maddie Ziegler continues the chain of successes Sia has had.
