I'd say it's fair on Survivor but not fair in group games.

On Survivor you can't really chat to the other tribe unless you're at a challenge, but on TG you can chat freely to everyone.

I mean it's up to the host, but I wouldn't allow it.

not fair! Since you usually have no connection with someone on the other tribe in REAL survivor. It only happened on a HvV season AT a challenge.

There is no rule against cross tribal idols and the reason we allow it is because in group games you can't publicly pass it without everyone seeing it. The whole idea is that it's supposed to be a secret.
