I'm a swimmer and used to think peeing in the pool is ok, cuz like what people usually think, 'chlorine just cleans my pee'.
BUT after reading an article abt peeing the pool, i decided not to... cuz whatever's in our pee actually has a reaction with the chlorine, which is harmful to us.
Ugh ikr I used to swim and heard about people admitting to peeing in the pool all the time. And It's nasty. Some kid was even peeing into the pool off the diving block once.
This is bullshit. Accourding to chemistry. Urine is actually just water, colored by the chemical reaction in our digestive track to remove nutrients. So basically it's yellow H2O. Bye. #ChemistryIsCool
RaverKid if it is just water why don't you drink some? :-P its actually like ~95% water and then some other stuff in it....95% water is not enough for me to consider it water enough to drink! haha
How valid was this article? because I've defo swam for years and now I work in a pool lifeguarding and teaching swim lessons...
I've learned in my time that validity is EVERYTHING and scientifically speaking it's so easy to tell when an article is real and when it's bs tbh...
