Ranking My Seasons #6- Nicaragua (Season 3)

#Blindside. Here we have a season most people, even on the season are probaly shocked to see it on. However it as a season has aged one of the best, has one of the best re-casting pools, and overall was the first season to have both a good pre and post merge segment of the game. Featuring a Female Avi/Male Avi season we had this cast.

Right away the games began, with both tribes in utter chaos of a million alliances. The girls however felt the pain, drawing a rock in there first tribal due to inactives, and then watched many members be blindside by the alien.

Stirring up controversy was the pre-planned swap. Simmilar to the swap of Africa, 3 people per tribe switched, and this is where Brendan decided to take things in his own hands. Using the Alien twist, he and delived information to James, his brother, where we saw a large amount of more alien blindsides, and the second robbing fo Eddie.

However neither tribe manged to stay strong to orginal tribe lines, with everyone trying to take eachother out. At the merge only Weber and Sassandrea where left from NuLa-Flora while Dylan, Andrea, Lisa, James, Christian, AJ, 'Karni', and Emerson where left from Nu-Espada.

Orgianlly Nu-Espada seemed determined to stick together, however the guys decided to team back up. This was leaked through Weber, who had bonded with the girls, creating tons of chaos and drama, leading to a 'safe vote' flip onto Dylan, who was blindsided from the game.

With the guys having the numbers, they seemed poised to begin a pagong, however, Andrea and Weber began stirring shit up, leading to everyone wanting to split the vote between Weber and James.

In a shocking even the leak from Brendand was relveled here, and James, who was in massive danger of leaving anyway, was removed from the game, due to not reporting the information to me, after i consulted many hosts on the proper action.

Despite being the most dramatic tribal of the series yet, you would think the guys would begin a downward spiral here, with loose canon Weber around.

It was clear sides where locked on even numbers, espically when a tied vote emerged. To save herself Sassandrea flipped her vote, backstabbing the girls, thinking she had avoided the deadly PROD. However, AJ made his first huge move of the season, also flipping to blindside a threat of his.

Both flips caused the Purple Rock everyone wanted to avoid. It was here karma destroyed one of the flippers, ending Sassandrea's game as she drew the dreaded rock. Again it seemed the guys where poised to destroy, however AJ remainded shaky, and the other guys had limited trust in him.

He debated flipping, however decided last minute the idol queen Lisa was too dangrous and went with the guys to vote her out of the game, contuing the pagong of the girls.

Now with just Andrea and Weber vs AJ, Christian, 'Karni', and Emerson it seemed the season would finally take a cool down, as the invetibale would be sure to happen. Of course this season would not be #6 if it was that simple.

AJ had flipped and tied the vote, causing lots of chaos as he despertatly tried to convince his friends to flip with him and take out Christian, and wait another vote to elimante Weber/Andrea.

It was not to be. All adamantly told him no and he was forced to flip back, unwilling to take the 33% chance he would be elimanted by the purple rock to keep the more outspoken minority in the game. Andrea, the true star of this season, was elimanted and cursed to always go out early/mid pre-merge in all her future adventures in this series.

At the finale 5, it was Weber vs the world, and shockingly his underdog story made him more rootable then he normally was. After losing the challenge, he tried in vain to convince people to flip. At tribal council however, everything changed in an instant. The guys confident they had accomplished and finshed there crazy pagong, where shocked to see Weber pull out and idol.

In horror they watched 3 of there votes nullifed. Andrew, then sees Weber's vote for him and accepts the worse, however in a shocking turn AJ had voted Christian, seeing this as his best chacne to finally elimante his number 1 threat.

He mannged to convince Emerson to side with him in the re-vote, and Christian was blindsided from the game, with nothing but bitterness at AJ.

In the Finale it was still Weber vs the world. Weber here fought hard but failed at the final 4 immuinty. With the limited time he had, he tried to get people to take out 'Karni' for being a great social threat, however the guys remained united, and Weber, the sole person remaning from the minority was finally gone.

With the three guys left the began the first 'annual' Final Endurance Immuinty. Emerson dropped out early, leaving 'Karni' and AJ to battle it out. In the end 'Karni' won, and took AJ, the jurors 'favorite' player. Breaking the heart of his survior BFF Emerson.

Despite the MASSIVE hate AJ had gotten both during the game and at ponderosa, he manged to stand strong against jury favorite Andrew in the FTC. Mangign to steal several bitter jurors votes, he was close, but his lackluster Hantz-esq gameplay just burned too many bridges, granting the win to 'Karni' in a close 5-4 vote.

Now i know some people want to know, how can essitanlly a pagong season be ranked so high. The fact is, despite this, it was unpredictable, and you never knew when the 4 guys allaince was gonna shatter into a million peices. The merge group is by far one of the best, and all where entertaing and unquie charcters allowing this season to go down as one of the best.

Fun Facts:
- This was the first season with a Gen 1 finalist to not make it to the to Final Tribal Council again a second time in Weber.
-AJ was the fourth person to be gifted with the 3 immuinty curse that would later be broken.

- Lisa was an alternate for All-Stars. Sh was also asked back for One World, but was cut.
- Kimmiko was considered for One World, but was cut.
-Dylan was considered for Blood vs Water, but he had to pull out late into casting. He was considered for All Stars but declined. He was again considered for One World, but declined.
-Andrea was considered for One World, but declined
-Eddie was considered for One World, but did not respond.
-Emerson was considered for One World, but was cut.
-Christian was considered for All Stars but was cut.
-Weber was considered for Duos vs Rivals but was unaviable. He was also considered for One World but was cut.
-JG was considered for Fans vs Failures but was unaviable during that time. He was also condsiderd for One World but declined.

Grade: 89% (B)
