Ranking My Seasons #5- Fans vs Failures (Season 10)

Here we go one of the best seasons, to date, a season that has Failure in the title.. talk about false advertising. For this season 10 'second chance esq' players from the past where brought back to face against 10 brand new players in a battle for the title.

The fans tribe looked at stack, and many predicted they would easily run through, and the first boot being Alan, seemed to prove them right.

However the fans where divdied on one side Andy, Zbase, Brian and Natalie faced Alyssa, Coldan, Daniel, Alyssa and Game with Rich in the middle. The fans went on a losing streak and Zbase, Andy and Brian where all taken out by the majority allaince.

Going into the swap the failures seemed strong, however lost a few of there members in Sackeshi Andrew, and Ray, while the other side lost Game and Rich. However at Redemption Sackeshi manged to pull out win after win, and re-enterd the game, and then won the following immuinty challenge, securring his spot in the top 10.

During the Second Swap Mikey and Cirie, both in great postions, manged to be without most of there main allaince and where blindsided at there respective tribal councls.

What makes this pre-merge so good was the constant battles between Sackeshi and almost everyone. The prime people being Daniel and Alyssa, who Sackeshi fought with on a daily basis. These fights really made an amazing pre-merge full of flip floppers and blindsides, and power shits all the more better.

Come the merge it was Link, Jet, Brady, Dan, Sackeshi and Onika from the Failures and Natalie, Daniel, Coldan and Alyssa from the fans. Sackeshi tried despratly to get the failures to see the threat that was the fans, however no one was willing to listen to him, marking the end to all there games as Sackeshi was voted out in a 9-1 vote.

Now with the sides being 5-4, the game was wide open. Jet however had a plan. He saw the fans as easier to beat in the end, and made the move to flip to them, and causing the blindside of Link. However karma would get him right back. The fans, rightfully seeing him as the biggest threat, sent Jet right out at the next tribal council, with an idol in his pocket.

Now that there where 7 left Brady, Dan and Onika knew they where screwed. Despite lots of fights and drama within the fans allaince for the second tribal in a row, the stuck together and took out Dan and Brady leading Onika as the last failure standing coming into the finale.

Against four fans it seemed hopeless for her, however she manged to flip the vote and use the crazy divided fans and get out Alyssa, putting her one tribal away from winning the game. However Onika's run was about to end.

Nataile the underdog of the season manged to win the final immuinty, and Daniel/Coldan's plan to blindside there biggest jury threat failed, and they where forced to take out Onika.

Come the Final Tribal Council, Daniel flopped and gave a very meh preformance against Coldan, who had one of the best in the histroy of the series, and Natalie who played a great UTR game, and had more moments of struggle to bring up.

When the vote came back 3-3-3, a tiebreaker vote declared Natalie the winner, where she beat out the fans who intially where in the oppsing majority allaince.

What I think makes this season so great is the drama, activty, the challenges, the gameplay, all the blindsides, twists, and powershifts worked together. The fans could have fallen apart at any second and very much did during the finale. Natalie went from 'next to go' all pre-merge to winner, and overall there is little negative I can say about this season, except for at the end of the day the Failures where still pagonged, and in the last couple seasons, that slght predicatability isnt there.

Fun Facts:
- Natalie was the first winner with a female AVI. To this date only Dakota and Yonna also had female avis when they won the game.
- This was the first time the Jury vote tied. It would happen again during One World.

Returnees:
- Natalie was cast on Wangy's 'Cote D'Ivore' and made it to the 'Season Merge' so she played on Libya. She also returned for Duos vs Rivals and One World.
-Daniel- Duos vs Rivals
-Link- One World
-Jet- One World

Returnee Fun Facts:
- Drago was considered for Duos vs Rivals with Daniel but he declined. Alyssa would aslo Decline her retrun with Sackeshi so Daniel and Sackeshi where paired due to there rivarly.
-Sackeshi was considered for One World but was cut.
- Brady was considered for One World but was cut.
- Dan was considered for one world but could not be contacted.
-Onika was considered for One World but never responeded to her invite.

Grade: 93% A
