You guys probably don't know/care who he is and probably won't believe me since i have no photo evidence but I can supply you with the autograph he gave me...
For those who don't know, Chris Sale is a Baseball player for the Boston Red Sox who is putting together one of the greatest seasons for a pitcher in the history of Baseball and is on his way to breaking records never before broken and only at the short age of 28.
So I was eating lunch with my family at a local restaurant and a tall ass guy came in with his family and I looked up and said "You look a lot like Chris Sale" he replied with "I get that a lot" so I turned to my mom and I said "Mom, I really think that is Chris Sale" and our waitress (who was listening in) said "Yes it is". Me, being the idiot I am, went over to his table and said "I am sorry, I had no idea you were actually..." and I was so starstruck I couldn't even finish what I was trying to say. He shook my hand and offered to give me an autograph. He signed a kids menu (crappy I know but that's all we had) and then he told me to follow my dream because that's what got him to where he is today. I would've asked for a picture but he was with his family and I didn't want to draw attention to him.
Mr. Sale is a class act and honestly the greatest, most nicest guy in Baseball. I know he cut up some jersey's last season but with the numbers he puts up, that's easy to look past.
I am still in shock I met him and honestly can't wait to show everyone my autograph...
