pretty sure that mike from worlds apart is closeted
i'm not trying to out him or mock him or anything but something about him really makes me think he's struggling with his sexuality as far as his religion goes, especially considering the fact that they revealed he's been celibate for 8 years
also joaquin said mike would lie on the beach twirling joe's hair in his exit interview so there's that too
either way mike is shaping up to be one of my favorite male survivors ever (in the modern era) because he's ridiculously complex while also not being an asshat
He's my 2nd favorite after Shirin. But I don't think he's closeted? Some religious people take abstinence very seriously I don't think there's anything wrong with that.
olympia yeah i know i'm just throwing it out there, his mannerisms kind of give me that vibe too but i know better than to try to pigeonhole someone for the way they act

he could still be gay even if he has/had a wife & 2 kids Steel, one of my friends dad came out in his late 40s and he was married and had a wife and 2 kids. back in their day this wasn't as accepted

idk i just really feel like he's gay, and the selfish part of me hopes that he is because it would just add to his complexity in terms of his religious narrative
I think Jeff even said that Mike was one of the biggest flirts throughout the season which I don't see specifically pertaining to the girls. I kinda get the closeted gay vibe as well, seems like a sweet guy though!
