I Need Opinions On This Story Plot

So I am working on a horror story and this is the main plot:

A 16 year old living a normal life begins to have dreams of people close to him dying one by one. Strange enough, people he know slowly die... From family friends, to personal friends, and slowly making the way to his aunts, uncles, and main family! Eventually he figures out why people are dying and he has to make it known to other people or else eventually he will die. Can he make it to safety before his life is taken? And can he save the lives of some of his family members? You'll have to read the book!

Sounds sorta predictable, make it more mysterious like twists like ppl he dreams die are actually the only ones who live and actually committed the murders of all his family
