I can't honestly believe it's been this long.
Sure the site has changed quite a bit from my first few years here, but it's been a great place to interact with a variety of people I don't get to all the time outside of here.
I've been through many stages on here and had a few different friend groups.
First, a group called the Slaves that was honestly a great group of people headed by loowis. There was so much drama but everyone was able to take what they dished out so it remained intact for awhile. The Blazing Aces followed started by BigMamaT. This was an awesome group as well and we all got along and I hate that a few key members left as this group was strong and could've been together for a long time. After that, I was in the OC for awhile then the big split happened and neither side picked me up. I also do not play or enjoy League of Legends and so the people I normally talked to about other shit did not have the same interest anymore, and thus I fell out of contact with most of them.
Most recently I've been a part of CYA (yuck ikr) but it's been one of, if not, the best ones. Many close friends of mine bluelagoon506lemjam6turney1805brandonpinzuallieboballie are with me in there and they are the ones I enjoy talking to the most. Of course there are a lot more in there I like but I can't name you all.
Anyways, all I am saying is I am thankful for the positive impact this site has had on my life even though I've probably had 10 heart attacks throughout my time here from other people's bullshit :)
Things I miss from the beginning of my time on here:
- Noob stars when people voted in polls against each other to send players that had never
played into stars (when stars meant more). I almost made it into one but was barely
beaten. Still a fun experience.
- The duel. Everyone says they hated it but that wasn't the case until the stupid unenroll
button was added and no one would fill a game. It was fine before it.
- Rookies with betting. Man, you used to be able to make 1000T$'s in a week. Easy. You
could fill charities and other games and be done within an hour or two and bam. Doubled
money. Sure there were tons of times it would pit two 6 person premades against each
other but they were fun as hell to play and bet on. This would help the T-economy out
currently and make the site a little more interactive again.
So yea it's been fun. I probably won't be as active as I used to but I have no plans to stop being around anytime in the next couple of years.
