(yes im super behind since i just moved/am lazy so i am now binging it)
wow Tanzania delivers again. Tanzanian market legs < 3333 urban african legs in general < 33 FINALLY an african leg that isnt a linear village leg with 2 minute tasks and no placement shifts! (Also Charla and Mirna's #IMPACT @ Asante being repeated over and over the whole leg)
even tho they are sticking to detour>roadblock>pitstop leg planning the tasks are a HUGE step up from previous seasons and so i am loving the constant switching of placements
this season has a little bit of everything tbh:
-intra-team drama (brooke and scott < 3, sarah and shamir < 3333)
-inter-team drama: team beauty and the geek vs redmond and his partner (dont want to spoil myself looking up their names)
-UNEXPECTED events: The passport going missing (L M A O @ "team fun" SNAPPING and showing their true colors the moment something went wrong < 333)
-Hard tasks leading to placement shifts
-tasks that shed light on the culture of the country in a non-contrived way
-PLACEMENT SHIFTS
also, LOL @ like the 3 different "im not here to make friends" comments once the teams got the caution uturn ahead clue ugh yes that never gets old
idk if this trend continues this season is shaping up to be my favorite season since S18.
(also im not reading the comments until im cuntpletlely caught up since ik someone is gonna be smart and try and spoil me or accidentally spoil me like what happened in what i blogged two blogs ago.
timster ye i felt bad for scott too until he got all cocky and felt he was better than his partner and would constantly start eyeing the camera for no reason. we GET IT you hate your partner and are so much better than her but dont eye the camera and shit when you dont even have the damn answer to the challenge. embarrassing. brooke CARRIES that team in terms of entertainment. i LOVED when she was doing the metal task and every person besides her partner was comforting her and offering free assistance out of nowhere < 333
ye anyways the seasos is a strong season. if brooke and scott win then itll pass 25 for me in terms of best post-UB season... so itll probably end up in second place for that title alol
