sportsgeek12 im a huge nba fan, im a huge laker fan and ive kinda dropped interest this year and last because they arent as good anymore. But when i started watching and loved it 2002-forward, i loved the diversity of talent on teams like tmac, kobe, shaq, lebron, iverson.
The odd thing is that the nba now isnt different from what is was jordan-2014. The only teams to win the championship were the bulls, heat, spurs, celtics, lakers, and mavs.
I think its that there were alot of contending teams, back then you had showtime lakers, birds celtics, detroit bad boys, barkley's suns, jordans bulls, olajuwons rockets.
Then you had, shaq+kobe, duncans spurs, nash +stoudemire, lebrons cavs, dirks mavs, the big 3 celtics.
I think now though there isnt much rivalvry anymore. Like cavs warriors, that doesnt compare to celtics vs lakers, bulls vs knicks, kings vs lakers. Also we dont have any SUPERSTARS that are brands of the NBA besides lebron.
