Jeff flies in on a helicopter. "We've handpicked 20 of the greatest to ever win the game, and this season, they'll be battling it out, Heroes vs. Villains style!" We see all 20 of the heroes and villains.
"Rich, you were the original winner, and the original villain. How do you think you stack up against these new competitors?"
"Pretty good. None of them are as smart as I am, this should be pretty easy."
"Kim, you've never played with any of these guys before. How different do you think this will be compared to your last season?"
"I think that the competition is a lot fiercer this time, so I'll have to be ready for whatever comes my way."
"Brian, we haven't seen you for a while. You are well known as one of the most villainous to ever play. How do you plan on playing this time?"
"I'll play more cutthroat and dirty than I did last time, and these Heroes over here won't last."
"Nice. With that, let's get to your first immunity challenge."
Everyone played in the immunity challenge, and after a close game, the Heroes walked away with the victory.
"Villains tribe, I'll see you at tribal tonight. Go back to camp and strategize."
HEROES CAMP
At the Heroes camp there was a clear bond forming between Jenna, Denise and Danni. Fabio, Mike, and Vecepia all quickly formed an alliance. On the hunt for the idol, Yul found it, and showed it to Ethan.
VILLAINS CAMP
Right off the bat, all of the villains went looking for the idol, until Sandra found it. A secret alliance of 4 was formed between Richard, Todd, Tony, and Parvati. Todd formed the alliance because he knew he'd be surrounded by 3 major threats, so even if they did end up on the wrong side of the numbers, he'd be safe for a couple of votes. He also chatted with Sandra and Kim, forming an alliance with them as well. Richard quickly took note of Todd's alliances and wanted to target him, going as far as telling Tony and Parvati about his cross-alliances. Rich promised Amber and Brian an alliance if they voted Todd out that night. Todd campaigned hard to Cochran and Natalie.
TRIBAL COUNCIL
At tribal, Rich and Todd campaigned against each other, talking about how they are less of a threat and how they'd contribute to the tribe. Everyone voted.
"I'll read the votes."
"First vote... Rich."
"Second vote... Rich."
"Third vote... Rich. That's three votes Rich, no votes for anyone else."
"Tenth vote, Todd. We have a tie 5 votes Rich, 5 votes Todd. We will revote, if all the votes stay the same we will draw rocks, and Todd and Rich will both be safe."
"First person voted out of Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains Champions: Rich. Rich, that's 5, that's enough bring me your torch."
Amber (confessional): "I flipped on Rich. How am I supposed to trust one of the most notorious men to ever play the game? An alliance with him and Brian is not ideal, and I don't think Todd will have anyone other than Kim and Sandra next tribal."
