Survivor Samoa had a fantastic cast with lots of great characters..... but one of the biggest characters in Survivor history cast a shadow over them, as well as dominating the game. Numerous people were out on the look for the idol, but the person who eventually found it was Mick. Meanwhile, Ashley isolated herself from the tribe because no one appreciated her work around camp. Jaison, Liz, and Borassi found Joe to be a threat because he took a leadership role, and he was also weaker in the challenges. Joe wanted to vote Ben out with his alliance because he was a dick, and his alliance agreed to it. After Joe and Ben bickered at camp, Ben decided he'd vote for Joe, and Jaison offered Ashley safety for the next couple tribals if she voted Joe out. This left Marisa and Mick in the middle.
GALU CAMP
Everyone at Galu was searching for the idol as well, and Brett found it, only to be caught by his ally Erik unbeknownst to Brett. When Erik asked Brett if he had found the idol later, Brett said no, wanting to keep the idol to himself, losing the trust of Erik and John and dissolving the alpha alliance.
