To figure out if going into the merge with the numbers is an advantage or a disadvantage, I'll be doing a sort of electoral college. If the tribe alliance has a better placement avg. they get a point and if they have a winner they get a point.

Majority Tribe - 17 points

Minority Tribe - 16 points

So as the stats show, there's no statistical advantage either way going into the merge w/ the numbers or w/o.
