Me, DumbGinger, Solinne64, adamsel, and BigBrother_78 took the liberty of ranking each member of the cast of Game Changers based on strategy, and we combined all the rankings. If two castaways received the same score, longevity in the game determined who got the higher spot on the list.
Well, if you couldn't tell by the picture, #15 is HALI FORD.
adamsel - Nothing much to say, she didn't really play a good game, but she still got to the merge.
BigBrother_78 - Hali shouldn't be #15. I ranked her #11 or #12. I think that Hali was playing a really good strategic game, and was just in the minority at the merge
DumbGinger - Hali's a great character, but strategically very mediocre. She really doesnt seem to excel at connecting with people outside her immediate friend space. I think we saw this is Worlds Apart too, super besties with Joe and Jenn, but everyone else she seemed to not really want to give a large effort in connecting to. She managed to slither onto the merge, but as we saw, once the merge hit she had no connections. Her only real allies were Malcolm and Sandra, and she didnt really connect with anyone outside of them. As such, she was an easy vote, a free merge pickoff. To give her a bit of credit though, apparently she tried to bond with Sierra Yawn Thomas several times and SDT just like gave her the cold shoulder lel whoops
Solinne64 - Don't get me wrong, Hali is loveable, but that's it. Both of her seasons she lacked of social game which made her an easy target once the merge arrived. She seemed to not do much about it even if she knew she was in trouble. I don't get the hype over Hali, she's cool yeah, but that's it, she got some lines but she lacked of social and strategic abilities gamewise.
Me - I'll just talk about the specific tribal council where she went home. Okay, a big red flag in knowing you're playing a shit game is when literally nobody could give a shit if you leave. She didn't make a good bond with ANYBODY in the game.... which is why when Jeff asks "Well, why not prove to everyone you don't have an idol by pouring everything out of your bag?" (paraphrasing) she should have done it. She wanted to force someone else to do it, but secretly, no one wanted to because she was a safe vote out. I have sincere doubts that people believed she actually had the idol, and she was picked off because it was a vote that literally EVERYBODY could agree on. Maybe a few funny lines, but overall just an absolute garbage player.

lol at the saltyness. You guys realize you can enjoy watching a player while they dont play a good game, right? you dont have to try and defend every person you like's game. Hali played poorly. Cry yourself to sleep over it all you want, I can say that and she's still in my top 30 favorite Survivors.
