Let's take a walk down Memory Lane, shall we? I joined Stars 90 on July 31st and was ready to take on the entire cast. However, I lacked one thing: strategy. I was tossed out as soon as I was getting comfortable. I wrote a blog saying, next time I join Stars, people will see a different side to me.
That time, is now.
I came in with a strategy. Even though I knew 75% of the cast, I realized that I would have to get myself as far as I could go, and I planned strategically.
In the beginning of the game, there was a huge ten person alliance. The first three nominations went without a hitch, until a little speed bump developed when RonRon was outcasted by Princess. Normally, I hate choosing sides, especially when two of them are my friends, but a choice had to be made. I've known RonRon a lot longer, and Princess had waaaay too many friends, so I knew what had to be done. It was pure strategy and nothing personal.
For the middle part of the game, RonRon, myself, Kob3, Holiday and KingMac picked off the rest of Princess's crew until it was just down to Seb and two floaters. (No offense tofu, I love you and all, but where were you??) However, during this game, we noticed one influential factor who was playing the entire cast: KingMac. We all put aside our differences and, lucky me, had the task of going up against KingMac. Once Mac was gone, it was back to strategy. Kob3 and RonRon were sent packing, and suddenly, it was down to me, and all of a sudden I'm being flavorized. Nomination after nomination; three times in a ROW and I survived.
Now...down to the final 5. I knew something fishy was going on between Holiday and Seb (I love you both) as Holiday was trying to flip my vote. I agonized over this, but then, thinking strategically, figured they were both up to something, so yeah, my vote went to tofu/Holiday. They are now up for eviction. Winner goes to finals with Seb and I.
I turned the tide around because I was next to be picked off, and I managed to do something I never thought in my wildest tengaged dreams would do: come back from being thrown out 16th in a Stars, and make it all the way to the finals.
I played this game the hardest, and while I'm no angel...this IS Stars ya know!...I played a very strategic game. Each nomination and eviction up until the halfway point had something to do with me. I stayed unnommed until the final 7, ANOTHER feat I didn't think I would accomplish!
In closing, I hope I gave everyone something to think about when casting your votes.
Seb, I love you, I couldn't ask for a better person to be sitting next to in the finals. As much as we were on the opposite sides, you're a great person.
Holiday, you played a great game, I always had your back, but I understand, it's just a game, and I'll always be your friend.
