Question

Can a religion whose holy text advocates murdering non-believers be considered "peaceful"?

I have a question for you, and it's a dead serious one. Have you met any Muslims in real life?

maxiphone27 I have. This isn't just about Islam, though...

tofutime well it's clearly at least partially about Islam, so whichever other religions it's about, my follow up question can be applied there too. Have the Muslims that you have met (or believers of whichever other religion(s) you are talking about) tried to kill you for not being Muslim (or whichever religion)? Or in any other way sabotage your life?

I am a Jew. Muslims are supposed to HATE Jews with everything in them, but the many Muslims I have the pleasure of being friends with have been nothing but kind and helpful to me. Therefore, I consider those people whom I have met peaceful.
