I am 26, joined OKCupid in August. Only met one or two guys through it.
Then, about two weeks ago, I met a guy called Steve, he looked hot, seemed good, his profile seemed to check out, he even had a LinkedIn and Facebook profile. We exchanged several X-rated messages, involving BDSM and fantasies.
I genuinely thought we had a connection and spent a lot on looking good for the date.
I agreed to meet him at a local restaurant in Vancouver center on Friday night, but instead of Steve turning up, my dad greeted me in the car park snd said "I know all your dirty little secrets, you dirty little slut. I was Steve, hah hah hah!"
I told him how sick and disgusted I felt but he refused to listen, insisted "I did this as a way to get close to you, you've lived away from home for so long."
Now I feel I can't trust my dad any more. I could not believe it, my dad catfishing me? Sick.
This is and was very out of character for my dad.
I needed to vent here, anyone been in a situation like mine?
Unfortunately I've got dinner with my parents this coming weekend, and although it's great to see my mum, I'm dreading seeing my dad.
How do I cope with this? Seeking advice from you guys.
