MILLZ Survivor: India (Episode 1)

Apr 23, 2017 by tofutime
Deep in the forests of India, Jeff Probst stands on a cliff overlooking a brown river.

Jeff Probst: We are in one of the most dangerous yet breathtaking places in the world.  Here, in just a few short minutes, twenty people from the Western Hemisphere will embark on the adventure of a lifetime.  They come from all walks of life, but they have one thing in common - they belong to the same online community, the sardonically named “Millz” Skype chat.  For the next 39 days, they will be left to fend for themselves in the scorching temperatures and stifling humidity of Central India.

Mikey (Mikey_Elite): It feels extremely surreal to be here.  I can’t believe I’m actually playing Survivor, especially with my kooky internet friends.

Barbie (babiicakes): I’m so pumped to be on Survivor.  I have a big personality, so my plan is to lay low in the beginning so I’m not voted out.  But once this game starts these bitches won’t know what hit them!

Marcus (jdog): I think other people will underestimate me.  I may be young, but I’m a high school athlete and a very successful Tengaged player.  If there’s one thing that’ll be my downfall, it’ll be the girls.

Matt (smuguy2012): My bartending skills will definitely come in handy in this game.  A lot of people here aren’t exactly what I’d call stable, so I shouldn’t be an early target.

Jeff Probst: Some of the contestants this season have long-lasting friendships while some are not nearly as close.

Jenna (jenzie): Looking around, I see that I’m surrounded by friends.  That definitely gives me a “leg” up, but I think it could also be an obstacle in the game because people will think I’m a huge threat.

Ali (ak73): There are a couple people in this game I’d consider friends, but most of them will just be easy to manipulate.  I am insanely good at Survivor and I have a merge streak of over 40 on Tengaged which I had to give up to come play Survivor here.  I'm sure my achievements in real life Survivor will rival my excellent online résumé.

Eric (bomberv): These peasants should be honored that I’ve come all the way to this dirty country to play Survivor with them.  I know I’m going to win.  And if I don’t, I’m still rich. [Laughs]

Jeff Probst: It’s the ultimate challenge.  Twenty friends, enemies, and everything in between forced to work together.  They must learn to adapt or they’ll be voted out. In the end, only one will remain to claim the million-dollar prize. 39 Days, 20 People, 1 Survivor!

INTRO PLAYS

-

Jeff Probst: Welcome to Millz Survivor: India.  I’m sure you all recognize most of your tribemates.  This game will be a chance to reconnect with old friends and revive old feuds.  Guy in the back, what’s your name?

”Steve!” says Nattie.

“Steve, how do you feel about playing Survivor with people you’ve known online?”

“Pretty excited!  I’m looking forward to getting to know some of them better.”

“Girl in the pink shirt. What’s your name?”

“Gemma!” says Gemma excitedly.

“I’m sure you’ve seen the show.  Have you seen the toll this game can take?”

“Yes.  I’ve seen people pass out and get taken away in helicopters.”

“Does that worry you at all?”

“Of course.  But I think I’ll be able to avoid overexerting myself.”

Gemma (Gemma17): I’m currently taking a brief hiatus from studying law to play this game.  I’m able to think on my feet which should be a huge asset.  I’m just worried about the survival part.  I’m not exactly outdoorsy.

Jeff brings out a large bag.  “To start off this season, we’re going to randomly divide you into two tribes.  Each of you will pick a wrapped buff that will determine your fate.”

Each person nervously chooses a package from the bag as Jeff explains.

“Alright, reveal.  If you have a green buff, step onto the green mat.  If you have a brown buff, step on the brown mat.”

The castaways excitedly unwrap their buffs and step on the mats.

“The Lahpur tribe, which will always wear green, consists of Eric, Jenna, Nic, Mikey, Marcus, Ben, Kris, Admir, Dylan, and Torsa.”

Jenna (jenzie): I was fired up when I saw my tribe.  It’s completely stacked with my followers! I mean, friends.

“The Chandal tribe, which will always wear brown, consists of Matty, Barbie, Dru, Candace, Gemma, Matt, Ali, Viv, Steve, and Allie.”

Dru (BengalBoy): I was seriously peeved to see my tribe.  It’s not the worst one I could’ve gotten, but it’s pretty damn close.

“Each tribe has a map to your respective camps.  But before you go, you have sixty seconds to gather as many supplies as you can get from the truck.”

The two tribes quickly rush to gather their supplies.  “There's fruit, there's chickens, there's wood!” Jeff calls as he watches over the castaways.

“Get a machete!” Dru yells to his tribe mates.

“Look for the chickens!” Matty announces.

“Five… Four… Three… Two… One… Time’s up! Off to camp!”

At the hike to the Lahpur camp, an alliance has seemingly already formed.  Ben, Dylan, and Marcus are hiking in a group.

“I have a great feeling about this group right here.  I’m not sure where your heads are at, but I think I can trust you guys,” Ben says quietly.

Ben (Galaxies): From everything I’ve seen watching Survivor, forming an alliance and getting in majority in the beginning of the game is incredibly important.

“Yeah I like this.  We should bring in Jenna, too,” Marcus says.

Dylan (DJ4460): I was glad when Marcus suggested Jenna join our alliance.  We’re sort of dating but we wanted to keep it on the down-low.

Jenna (jenzie): Yeah, me and Dylan are NOT dating.  But if it helps me in the game, he can think that.

Jenna and Nic are walking together.

Nic (rawr25): I am SO excited to be on a tribe with the one and only Jenzie! She’s, like, my number one boo.  I know we can run this game together!

“Me, you, and Mikey are gonna be the Final 3,” Nic says loudly and nonchalantly while Admir watches through the bushes.  Jenna laughs and agrees.

Admir (Admir): I heard everything that Nic and Jenna were saying.  I’m definitely not as close to the people on this tribe as some others, but I’m definitely not letting those three bulldoze the rest of us.

-

The Chandal tribe arrives at their camp, visibly exhausted.

Steve (Nattie): We all walked to camp together, so no one really had a chance to strategize, but as soon as we got to camp everyone was scrambling.

Barbie, Candace, Gemma, Viv, and Allie are on their own in the forest.  “So, alliance?” Barbie asks.

Barbie (babiicakes): When I saw my tribe, I knew we had to make a girls alliance!

“I’m ready for a season of crazy blindsides and maybe a little drama.  We should call ourselves the Pink Widow Brigade,” she continues.

Allie (AllieBoBallie): I don’t really know this Barbie girl, but I think she’s playing too hard too soon.  But I’m definitely not going to say no to an alliance on the first day.

“I think we can go all the way to the end!” Viv says excitedly.

Viv (ElectraViv): I didn’t come here expecting to make a girls alliance, but seeing the people on this tribe, it seems like the natural thing to do.  Gemma and I are super close, Barbie is one of my best friends, Candace and I have a great history, and Allie is a new pal.

Back at the camp, Dru and Ali are attempting to build a shelter.  Dru is doing the hard work while Ali sits and raps Kendrick Lamar lyrics.

“Is that really necessary?” Dru asks.

“Listen, man.  Music is basically my life.  Rap in particular.  If you have a problem with that then just say so. Mate,” Ali replies.

Ali (ak73): Dru needs a personality makeover.  I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again.

Matty walks over.  “Anything I can do to help?”

“I don’t think so, Minaj,” Dru replies.

“Just give me a chance!” Matty begs.  Dru reluctantly agrees and the team works on the shelter.

Dru (BengalBoy): I wasn’t expecting much from Matty, but he surprised me.  Maybe this tribe isn’t completely doomed after all.”

In the hammock, Gemma is getting to know Ali.

“…and that is why Kendrick is the GOAT,” Ali rambles on.

Ali (ak73): I always thought Gemma was kind of boring and only cared about designs, but she actually seemed kind of interesting.

Gemma (Gemma17): I’m not sure if Ali noticed, but I only got about two sentences in while he talked about his level 4 trip, or something.

-

Back at the Lahpur tribe, Kris and Eric are walking through the forest in search of the water supply.

“Hmm,” Kris mutters to himself, turning the map around and upside down.  “We’re here… I think… and that big rock is there… we should be close to the water!”

“I HATE water!” says Eric, dragging his feet behind Kris. “And this won’t even be filtered, or sparkling.  I’m used to only drinking champagne.”

Meanwhile, Jenna and Dylan are lying in the shade, filling each other in on the alliances they made.

“Do we really need to align ourselves with those gay boys?” Dylan complains.  "I think we’d be much better off with Ben and Marcus."

“Those are my friends!” says Jenna.  “Besides, we could try playing both sides!”

“Maybe. I just don’t want to end up cucked by my own alliance,” Dylan says as he rolls his eyes.

Jenna (jenzie): I’ve found myself in a bit of a pickle.  I’m apparently already in two alliances and there’s already some disagreement.  And this is only day one!

At the Lahpur camp, Mikey, Marcus, Ben, Admir, and Torsa are working on building a shelter.  Nic is lying in the sun.

Nic (rawr25): Just because I’m on Survivor, doesn’t mean I can’t work on my tan!

Torsa (Gardenia): I like Nic, but if this is how he’s going to act the whole time, I’m ready to vote him out already!

-

Later in the night, the Chandal tribe is sitting in darkness.  Candace and Dru are attempting to make a fire while the rest of the tribe is socializing.

Matt (smuguy2012): Being a bartender is an extremely social job. You learn that personality types want certain things from you, so I was like, “Okay, who-who looks like I would get along with?” Dru is pretty straight-forward and also funny, and he’s definitely the tribe leader at this point. Viv is one of my friends outside the game but she has a somewhat abrasive personality so I’m not sure how we’re going to get along yet in the middle of India. I definitely noticed the girls going off together, so I decided I’d work on aligning with them since it seems like they already have something going on.

“So, what do you think of everyone after the first day?” Matt whispers to Barbie.

“I really love our tribe!” she says back quietly.  “And I definitely want to work with you.”

Barbie (babiicakes): I know I already have an alliance with the girls, but I definitely wanna keep my options open.  Matt’s my friend and some of those girls were acting a bit shady already, anyway.

Suddenly, Candace yells out.  A flame has started in the small fire pit Dru built.  The rest of the tribe rushes around to help.

Candace (Icing): I cannot believe Dru was able to make fire on the first night, without any flint!  He’s also a bit dreamy.

The Chandal tribe celebrates their new fire.

-

Back at the Lahpur tribe, things aren’t going as smoothly.

“I have never been so uncomfortable in my life!” Eric moans as he tries to get to sleep on the ground.  Nic is trying to snuggle with Marcus who keeps inching away from him.  Torsa and Admir have moved away from the noise.

“Dude, we need to form an alliance quick.  These people are crazy,” Torsa whispers.  Admir smiles and fills her in on what he overheard Nic and Jenna saying.

Admir (Admir): I think Torsa could be a great ally in this game.  Now we just need to find some more numbers.

-

The next morning, Marcus and Ben return to their tribe with tree mail.

“Tree mail!” Ben calls out.  “And it looks like we have our first immunity challenge!”

“I am not ready for this,” Nic groans. “It’d better not be something physical”

-

“Come on in guys!” Jeff Probst calls out.

The castaways march in to their mats, each eyeing the members of the other tribe.

“Chandal.  How were things your first night?”

“Actually, great!” Barbie says. “Dru made fire and we were all very comfortable!”

“Now I don’t believe that for a second,” Dylan says, rolling his eyes.  “They’re totally blowing smoke.”

“Well, either way, the winning tribe in this challenge will win fire in the form of flint, as well as immunity.”

Jeff reveals this seasons immunity idol, a golden key-shaped bust.

“Worth playing for?”

“Yes!” shout out the castaways.

“Let’s get started, then.  This first challenge is called Quest for Fire.  Each tribe will have a raft fitted with a fire cauldron and two torches.  You must use the torches to light a series of woks on the land and in water.  All members must have their hands on the raft at all time.  The first tribe to light all of their woks wins.  I’ll give you a few minutes to strategize.”

-

“Ready? Set? GO!”

Both tribes rush to start lighting the woks.  On the Lahpur tribe, Eric gets on the raft and starts barking orders.  On the Chandal tribe, Gemma has taken the lead and is holding the torch.

“The tribes are dead even!” Jeff says as both tribes make it out of the water onto land.  “Wait! Disaster as Matty trips, bringing Chandal’s entire raft to the ground.”  Matty looks depressed as the rest of the tribe works to get back on their feet.

“Lahpur now has a significant lead, and it does not look like Chandal is going to recover!”  Torsa lights the final bonfire for the Lahpur tribe and they all celebrate.

“That’ll do it! Lahpur WINS immunity and fire in the form of flint!” Jeff yells.

-

The Lahpur tribe stands on their mat holding the immunity idol and the flint, Chandal looking on dejectedly.

“Sorry Chandal, I have nothing for you.  You have tonight to discuss your plans and I’ll see you at Tribal Council tomorrow.”

Matty (MrMinaj): It’s completely my fault we lost that challenge and I feel awful, but hopefully I’ll be able to stay past this first vote.  I’m not ready to give up yet.

-

“I knew we could do it!” Marcus cheers as Lahpur gets back to their camp.  “I’m going to try and make fire!”

Dylan (DJ4460): Marcus is so naive.  But that’s why he makes a great ally.

Mikey and Dylan are working on making fire with the flint.

“So, I take it you heard about our alliance?” Mikey asks quietly.

“Yeah, I did,” Dylan replies.  Mikey waits, clearly expecting him to say something else.  He does not, so the two sit in awkward silence making the fire.  Suddenly, Jenna stands up.

“I have something to say,” she announces.  She pulls off her cargo pants, revealing one of her legs is wooden.  Her tribe mates gasp.  “Yes, the rumors are true.  I have a fake leg.  I decided to wait until after the first challenge to show you all - I wanted everyone to know that my disability won’t affect my performance in this game.”

Eric (bomberv): If Jenna thinks that her wooden leg is going to get her farther in this game, she is dead wrong.  If she crosses me that thing is going straight in the fire!

-

The Chandal tribe returns to the camp, saddened by their loss.  The fire has gone out so Dru gets to work on it.

“Barbie, want to go on a water run with me?” Matty asks conspicuously.

Barbie (babiicakes): I would have preferred to check in with my girls than to go off with Matty.  But what other choice did I have?

“Who were you thinking for tonight? I know I messed up in the challenge, but you guys have got to give me another chance! It was a fluke!” Matty begs Barbie at the well.

“Don’t worry about it, babe,” Barbie comforts Matty.  “I’ll take care of everything.  Let me work my magic.”

Barbie (babiicakes): Am I really going to save him? I don’t know.  I need to talk to my squad first! All I know is that if he isn’t voted out I’ll want to take the credit.

Meanwhile, Candace and Gemma are having a conversation.

“Listen, I just don’t know if I want to be in this girls alliance with Barbie.  She just gets on my damn nerves,” Candace says frankly.

“Oh, me too,” Gemma agrees wholly.  “But I don’t think a girl is going this time so we might as well stick with it.  If I had my way, Ali would be gone tonight.”

“I actually think that’s a good plan.  He makes me sick to my stomach really.”

Candace (Icing): Ali is definitely not the worst tribemate we have, but I’d love to see him go.  Let’s see if I can rally the troops.

The tribe goes to bed uneasily, ready for a day of scheming tomorrow.

-

The Lahpur tribe is woken up to an unpleasant scene.

“WHERE IS MY HAT!” Nic screeches, waving his hands around in the air wildly.  His tribemates stir as he paces around the camp.

“Look, I’m not saying one of you stole it.  But I left it right on this stump last night and now it’s nowhere to be found.”

“Honestly, guys, this is not cool,” Mikey says as he gets up.  “Please tell me we’re not going to need to do a full-blown investigation for this.”

Mikey (Mikey_Elite): Nic is one of my best friends, so of course I’m going to side with him if he’s being bullied by someone on our tribe.  It’s just a matter of finding out who it is.

Torsa glares at the two of them through sleepy eyes.

Torsa (Gardenia): Honestly, I have no idea what happened to Nic’s hat.  I think he might be in withdrawal from some kind of drug.  His behavior is totally erratic.

-

The Chandal tribe has a much calmer morning, though it’s spoiled by an uneasy feeling due to the impending tribal.  Gemma and Steve are the early risers of the tribe and are having a discussion.

“I’ve heard people might be voting Ali,” Gemma mentions nonchalantly.  “He’s been annoying some people around camp.”

Steve (Nattie): I’m not sure if Gemma realized that Ali and I are good friends.  I think she may have missed that.  But now I need to do damage control.

“Really? I thought for sure people would vote Matty.  It is his fault we’re even going to Tribal tonight.”

“Well, I don’t think anything is set in stone yet.  I’ll talk to some other people.”

Later, the girls are all chatting together, attempting to figure out the plan for the first vote.

“As far as I’ve heard, it should be between Ali and Matty,” Gemma mentions.  Barbie’s eyes light up at the sound of Matty’s name.

“I really don’t think we should vote for Matty,” she explains.  “He messed up on the first challenge, sure, but he could be useful to us down the line.”

“Why are you protecting him?” Allie says suspiciously.

“No reason.  I mean, I’m not,” Barbie replies nervously.  “I just think that our tribe dynamics would be much better if we voted out Ali.  You know?”

“I actually disagree,” Viv says, leaving Barbie looking shocked.  “I think Matty is the obvious choice.”

Viv (ElectraViv): Ali and I are actually pretty good friends, so obviously I don’t want to vote him off first.  Sorry Barbie!

All of the sudden, Ali barges in on the conversation.  Gemma and Candace scurry off.

“What’s going on?” asks Ali.

“Oh, nothing,” Barbie lies. “We were just looking for food!”  Ali looks at her suspiciously.

Ali (ak73): I could see right through Barbie’s lies.  Those girls are up to something.  I think I need to start my own alliance.

Ali gathers Matty, Dru, Matt, and Steve.

Matt (smuguy2012): Ali was telling us that there’s a girls alliance - something I already knew.  And he wants to make a separate alliance with the guys.  At this point, I’m not sure who I should side with.  This tribal council should certainly be interesting.

-

As the sun sets, the Chandal tribe makes their way to tribal council.  When they arrive, they each grab a torch.

“Behind each of you is a torch. Go ahead and grab it, dip it in the flame, and get fire,” Jeff Probst explains as they each light their torches.  “This is part of the ritual of Tribal Council, because in this game, fire represents your life. When your fire's gone, so are you.”

“Welcome to your first Tribal Council.  Steve, how has your tribe adapted to your living situation?”

“I think we’ve done quite well, given the circumstances,” Steve replies.  “I mean, we got fire on night one!  All thanks to Dru.”

“So Dru, safe to say you’re not the vote tonight?”

“I don’t think so, Jeff,” Dru contemplates, “but I could always be blindsided.”

“Gemma, do you think this will be a straightforward vote?”

“I don’t think anything in this game is straightforward,” Gemma explains.  “I think the person leaving tonight has some idea it’s them, but I don’t think they know for sure and I’m sure they won’t be happy about it.”

“Matty, you were pretty clearly the reason your tribe lost the challenge.  Why shouldn’t they just vote you out first?”

“Because,” Matty begins instantly. “Losing that challenge was bad luck, but I can still be a huge asset to this tribe.”

“Barbie, do you know who’s going home tonight?”

“I do,” Barbie replies with a smirk.

“Well, let’s see who it is.  Viv, you’re up first.”

-

Viv [Vote not shown]: I like you, but you have to go.

-

Steve [on Matty]: It’s your fault we’re here.  Hopefully this works out.

-

Barbie [on Ali]: Sorry hun.  Your time is up!

-

“I’ll go tally the votes.”

"If anyone has a hidden immunity idol and you want to play it, now would be the time to do so."

There is silence as the castaways all glance at each other.

“OK.  Once the votes are read the decision is final.  Person voted out will be asked to leave the tribal council area immediately.  I’ll read the votes.”

“First vote…”

-

“Matty”

-

“Ali”

-

“Matty”

-

“Ali”

-

“Matty”
Matty and Barbie look at each other nervously.

-

“Ali.  That’s three votes Matty, three votes Ali.”

-

“Matty”

-

“Matty”
Matty hangs his head.

-

“The first person voted out of Survivor: India…”

-

“Matty. That’s six, that’s enough.  You need to bring me your torch.”

Matty gets up to grab his torch, looking dejected.

“Matty, your tribe has spoken.  Time for you to go.”

Matty turns back to his tribe and blows a kiss.  “Good luck guys!”

Barbie’s mouth is hanging open in shock as he leaves.

“That was certainly an interesting first vote.  I can’t wait to see how the rest of this season turns out.  Grab your torches, head back to camp.  Good night.”

-

FINAL VOTES

Matty - Ali
