To both ValGarfield and her bidders, I'm GENUINELY apologetic fot the unfortunate outcome of the game. And although this puts me in a REALLY awkward position, I don't place any blame on anyone.
Just for the record, I TRULY had no regard towards whatever placing I got; I joined selflessly to help out a friend - like many others and again, I (and Val, assumably) thank you immensely for that.
And it saddens me, that not only did I receive first instead of Val, but that she received 5th place. Again, I am REALLY sorry that this happened, may I remind you - this was completely out of my power. I did the brim-maximum of what WAS in my power however: I rarely plussed anyone other than Val, I was one of the very few who abided by the "plus Val, neg everyone else" tradition in charities, and etc.
As to how Val got 5th: I decided NOT to vote as soon as the final day change occurred, due to the fact that Val could vote and make the decision herself. I figured, it's her charity - she can call the shots. I'll just sit back and plus her (thinking that everything would fall into place correctly). Unfortunately, (I believe she went to work) she failed to vote, thus making the remaining HGs the Final 5 and for some odd reason - she received the 5th place marking.
Again, I have NO idea how this happened, as a large majority of us plussed EVERY one of her comments and, in the final day, negged one another. But for whatever it's worth, I would like to just say that I am sincerely sorry.
[If I ever have a charity, def. rigging it so that Val gets 1st. ;) ;)]

I explained in the blog. xP Neither of us voted. I didn't, cause I figured she could call the shots since it's her charity. I believe she didn't because she was at work. :-x
As someone who was in this game and witnessed everything that went down.
I know for a fact that Michael had no desire to win this game, as myself.
I did know that if none of you voted, the final 5 would all have been algo'd. I wish I knew you were thinking about even doing that tbh... I would have told you to STOP!!! lol
I love Val and Michael. No one should be upset about this situation since it was an awkward one on day one, as it was on day 6.
