I Need Help Answering A Question

Jan 26, 2017 by vh1luvr15
My best friend just backed into a car and dented it. However, the car was parked illegally and gave her minimal space to back out and she left without leaving a note or anything.

My question being is she in the wrong for hitting the car then leaving or is it the other persons fault for parking illegally?

I told her she wasn't completely wrong because the car was not in a designated parking area to begin with so she shouldn't feel all that bad about hitting it and to just move on

Not ur friends fault if the jerk parked in a spot he/she shouldn't. Maybe it will teach them a lesson not to park in random places

i think she's technically partially at fault for still hitting it and not reporting it, but i mean that person is obviously more at fault for being an idiot parking illegally and so close to her
unless she parks there a lot, plus i doubt they took a picture of her car to report her if they choose to
if that happens again take pics of the car being parked so close/illegally so if they report it you can show them, probably not a 100% guarantee it'll work

What bowling4fun said. TECHNICALLY she's a little to blame, but ultimately the scumbag that parked illegally is the #1 responsible party in this situation.
