A new game is formed with a flock of between 7 and 15 players. The multiplayer game server secretly assigns most of the group to be sheep, and only a few to be wolves. The sheep do not know wolves from sheep, and yet the wolves know of each other. The exact number of wolves is dependent upon the number of people playing. In a 7-person game there is only one (1) wolf; whereas a 15-player game begins with three (3) wolves.
If you are a sheep, your job is to figure out who is a wolf, and vote them out out of the flock. If you are a wolf, you are trying to help your fellow wolves make it through the game undetected, devouring sheep in the process.
There are three (3) phases to the game: daytime, sudden death, and nighttime. In daytime, everyone chats together and tries to form alliances however they can to sleuth out and expose the wolves. During this time each person selects someone whom they believe to be suspicious. Sudden death ends the daytime phase with the two (2) most suspicious players being voted on by the remaining players as the one to be ousted from the flock. After one is ousted, nighttime takes over with all the sheep going to sleep, and the wolves free to decide who to eat, thus reducing the number of sheep by one (1).
this would be a good addiction to tengaged
its kind of like fasting with a twist
EDit post: if the wolves are voted out early the Sheeps get there karma and move on to a new game where more people can enroll in and play- kind of the method of survivor, but no exactly yoshitomi
Wouldn't work. Why you may ask? If I really want to see if you are a sheep or a wolf, I'll ask you to share screen with me on Skype. If you don't I'll know your a wolf lol.

Sounds like a cool idea...but will go no farther than an idea....randomize will NEVER make a new game...all he does is make updates relating to twitter and facebook..this is not a game website REMEMBER!
What happens if the wolf is removed early? Does the game end?
What prizes/costs are we talking about.
This would not work as a Tengaged game.
This is nothing but a group game.
So make a group and do this.
This makes no sense as a game. Because of Skype, secrets are hard to keep. Such as...."Who has pov?" "Not me!!" "Prove it." "....Shit!" :P
As a group game this would be fun.
Perhaps if the wolves go early, a sheep turns into a wolf? XD
Wouldn't work. Why you may ask? If I really want to see if you are a sheep or a wolf, I'll ask you to share screen with me on Skype. If you don't I'll know your a wolf lol.
agrees with jm101
So you're suggesting having a varying number of contestants? How?
How can you have 7 or 15?
You'd have to limit enrollment time, right?
Say you limit enrollment to 1 hour, right?
If you have a game with 1 player, does it give up, or increase enrollment time?
What if you have 100 people enrolling in one game? Is there a limit?
Is this a fast game or a slow game?
If it's a fast game (and even if it's slow), there's the problem of an inactive user. What happens if a wolf is offline all day? Then what? Does the algo choose a sheep to eat, or do no sheep get eaten that day?
What happens if on the last day, one sheep and one wolf remains? At this point, it's obvious who is who.
Would they both win, or is it purely based on luck (if it's night-time, wolf wins, if it's day-time, sheep wins)
Also, if the vote for the most suspicious person is tied (say two people got 3 votes), then what happens?
You may not realise how vague your idea is, but a programmer (such as Randomize or myself), would not be able to computer your idea in this basic form.
My questions, plus many more, need to be explained.
Such as prizes per day, whether the prize increases or decreases as the days go on, how long the days are, cost, etc etc.
I'm going to repeat myself. THIS IS A GROUP GAME. :P
I used to love playing this game!!! It was so much fun! I was sad when they took it down! Tengaged should bring it back!
To answer some of Yoshitomi's questions...
If the wolf is voted out early, the sheep win.
Once there is only 1 sheep left, wolves win.
There should be a set number of players. Anywhere from 7 to 15 works.
For sure a fast game.
Screenshotting wasn't a problem in the previous game. And, the wolfs screen shouldn't make it terribly obvious. Or do it in text, so they can change it in Chrome, making this method of finding the wolf completely useless. (The wolf's daytime screen should be identical to the sheeps.)
Inactive players should die, so if its the wolf, the sheep win.
I am pretty sure that the number of "guesses" the players get is equal to number of actual wolves there are. (i.e. if there are 3 wolves, the players will choose 3 players to guess as the wolf.)
Person with most guesses is ousted.
If there is a tie involving a wolf, wolf is ousted.
As far as cost and payout... I think the money paid should go into a "pot" and the remaining winning players should split it and possibly re-enroll into the next game
