Really chilling nature scenes. Strategy talk made fun by Tony and Sarah. Really awesome challenge that prevented us from getting Matsing 2.0 -- seeming to show that this three-tribe setup really can work. Balanced editing continues. Hilarious final words. Fun character scenes that served no purpose other than entertainment -- like the Brains practicing for the challenge. Everything I could want in an episode! I'm excited to rewatch it.
I'd do a cast ranking but I don't even want to think about it; all I care about is that I really like all of them.
Could Survivor really be on an upswing?? Could RI/SP/OW/Caramoan have just been another CI/Fiji -- is there a sunrise on the horizon???

I feel like survivor is finally escaping by far their worst era in Nicaragua-One World. I LOVE the editing we've been getting these 2 episodes. Garrett and Brice getting voted out really threw me off. Usually the way seasons are edited, we would've had J'Tia and Alexis go but the editing at least threw me off in having those 2 guys go. I also like that every early boot has gotten a big edit so far. Makes me actually care that all 3 are gone unlike previous seasons.
If we want to compare this to the previous survivor rise, I would say Phillipines was China, Caramoan was Micronesia, BvW was Gabon and this is Tocantins. Caramoan wasn't as bad to me as Nic-OW but just the fact the players from the worst era came back diminished the quality of what probably would've been regarded as a better season if any other players were in it. I'm hoping Caramoan represents the sendoff of the horrible survivor era and we can move on to bigger and better things with this show. I remember after Caramoan I was thinking about not even watching BvW. Now I'm probably as invested in this show as I was in HvV. I'm glad this completely fresh cast is working out so far :)
