X Factor Week 05 Rankings

Nov 28, 2015 by ztalker2002
SUMMARY OF RANKINGS #XFactor #XFactorUK

1. Lauren Murray - 96 / 100
2. 4th Impact - 92 / 100
3. Louisa Johnson - 90 / 100
4. Che Chesterman - 81 / 100
5. Reggie and Bollie - 76 / 100

~~~~~~
PREDICTIONS
- Louisa and 4th Impact will be safe
- RNB, Lauren and Che will be at the bottom 3
- RNB will be saved (shocked, I won't be. Cause UK seems to love 'em)
- Lauren and Che will do excellent on the sing-off making you realize why are they in the bottom in the first place.
- Cheryl will vote for Lauren and Simon will vote for Che TO STAY
- Deadlock: Che will go home.
Even though Lauren is strong tonight, I have this gut-feeling she will be in the bottom 2 in terms of the vote. Personally, I want to see RNB gone and not perform in the semis. But if it's not RNB, I'd rather see Che home over any of the girls
:)
III. Score Breakdown
First Performance : Louisa Johnson (Love Yourself by Justin Bieber)
V.T. - 8
V.A. - 9
C.T. - 9
A.I. - 8
O.P. - 8
General Comments: She was sharp a few times throughout this performance. The first part was amazing, middle was alright and ending was anti-climatic. Artistically, her voice is so powerful that she did it justice. Her bouncing movements, is it really necessary? I find it awkward. Judge's seem to like her performance with Simon saying it is not her best tonight.
Total: 42 / 50 points
Second Performance : 4th Impact (I'll be there by Jackson 5)
V.T. - 10
V.A. - 10
C.T. - 9
A.I. - 8
O.P. - 10
General Comments: Technically, the girls were on-point with their harmonies. Their individual voices can be easily separated. (Try closing your eyes) Almira's whistle tone give it edge and is the winning point. Artistically, this is the first time we see them sing a ballad proving that they are versatile. In terms of emotions, their sisterhood encompass the meaning of the song itself. Judges comment were all good with that dolphin note (Nick) arrived in the stadium.
Total: 47 / 50 points
Third Performance: Reggie N Bollie (Watch Me by Silento and Azonto by Fuse ODG)
V.T. - 5
V.A. - 9
C.T. - 7
A.I. - 10
O.P. - 7
General Comments: On the first half, there was not much versatility in their voice. They were literally singing on four notes. The boys' harmonies were off on the second-half of the song. Artistically, their voice is unique and as if it is their concert. It is really recognizable and they make this performance unique to themselves. I do not understand why Cheryl has to go up the stage to perform, but alright. Would I watch it again, yes.. maybe if I'm feeling down. Judges' comments were great, "credible recording artists" by Rita.
Total: 38 / 50 points
Fourth Performance: Lauren Murray (Firestone by Kygo)
V.T. - 10
V.A. - 10
C.T. - 8
A.I. - 9
O.P. - 10
General Comments: Technically, her voice is phenomenal. No critiques technically. Artistically, she looked like a rising diva/superstar with that performance. Emotion wise? Mhmm, I'd say it wasn't her most emotional performance as I wasn't persuaded or brought in to her delivery. The Audience was roaring, not as big as RNB but very good. I personally believed this was an excellent song choice for her. However, Simon disagrees with me.
Total: 47 / 50 points
Fifth Performance: Che' Chesterman (Hello by Adele')
V.T. - 6
V.A. - 7
C.T. - 6
A.I. - 7
O.P. - 7
General Comments: Technically, Che's worst performance yet. I'm sorry. But yeah. His lyrics were off, the ending was iffy with pitchy keys here and there. The middle part from his adlib to the butchered ending was positive in my opinion. Artistically, I didn't see Che' tonight. I saw an impersonation of Adele. Maybe because the song is so current and so big that tackling such a giant was bad for him. The public gave him a mountain to climb but he did not pull through.
Total: 33 / 50 points
Sixth Performance: 4th Impact (Fancy by Iggy and Rich Girl by Gwen Stefani)
V.T. - 9
V.A. - 9
C.T. - 10
A.I. - 9
O.P. - 8
General Comments: The rap by Celina was awesome. The mash-up arrangement and production value was really cute showing another side of the 4th Impact and their versatility. They have shown amazing dance steps. Technicaly, they are again excellent, with a bit of issues of harmonies (excusable as they are dancing as well). Their performance made me dance to be honest. "Simon, Remember my name" killed it for me. If you notice, Rita was a bitter person as even at the beginning she was already frowning and not even taking the girls' performance seriously.
Total: 45 / 50 points
Seventh Performance: Che' Chesterman (Try a little tenderness by Otis Redding)
V.T. - 10
V.A. - 10
C.T. - 9
A.I. - 9
O.P. - 10
General comments: Firstly, he made it his own. That is an artistic quality right there. His voice is magical and the endin woah, just wow. Technically, I see no issues even during his high notes, he did it really well. Overall, it was an awesome upbeat performance that really pulled him back in the competition. Judges' were impressed with a standing ovation. The audience were roaring!! Would I watch it again, HELL YEAH~
Total: 48 / 50 points
Eight Performance: Lauren Murray (You don't own me by Grace)
V.T. - 10
V.A. - 10
C.T. - 10
A.I. - 9
O.P. - 10
General Comments: The song speaks for itself. WE may not own Lauren, but she owned the song. The accent, the theatre, the power, everything was just her... her and on point. Totally amazing performance. Technically, she is a goddess, the song was progressively getting harder and yet she killed it. How do you that Lauren? HOW! HOW I ASK YOU. The judges are so impressed by her song.
Total: 49 / 50 points
Ninth Performance: Reggie N Bollie (Dynamite by Taio Cruz)
V.T. - 6
V.A. - 10
C.T. - 7
A.I. - 10
O.P. - 5
General Comments: I didn't like it, in my opinion. The boys are not showing growth in this competition unlike the other artists. I guess they are comfortable to what they have now and already 'figured' out how to win the public's hearts. Rita's comments were actually true, technically they weren't good (singing the same octave again and again). Artistically, it was good, I guess as they make it their own.
Total: 38 / 50 points
Tenth Performance: Louisa Johnson (Jealous by Labrinth)
V.T. - 9
V.A. - 10
C.T. - 10
A.I. - 9
O.P. - 10
General Comments: She is feeling ill at this time? Wow. She is excellent despite that handicap in this performance. She has this uniqueness that can push her to super stardom. Technically, she was pitchy twice. Artistically, she smashed that song and I see a record (and another top 10). Emotionally, I was really brought in. Good Job!
Total: 48 / 50 points
Patrick319 : Are you from the UK? Can you please vote for Lauren and 4th Impact for me? I really have this feeling Lauren will be in the bottom 2 this week.
ztalker2002 no I'm not, sadly :(
And yeah I'm crossing my fingers for Lauren. But she's doing well on the UK iTunes charts so I'm hoping for the best.
