Last week of double eliminations!

The theme for this round is "My Inspiration." This theme was moved forward (keeps happening this season :P) because I felt last week was a bit lackluster performance wise. So for this week, you must pick a song or an artist that inspires you to sing/appreciate music.

IN ORDER TO GET FULL CREDIT, at the beginning of your recording, you must include a vocal statement as to what inspires you about the song or artist. If you do not include this aspect, you will receive a .5 point penalty to your score.

The deadline to post your piece in THIS THREAD is MONDAY, April 13th at 11:59PM EDT.

So this week for my inspiration was the truly talented Amy Winehouse because I identify with your style and her voice and i loved her story and the fact she actually changed mainstream music a little bit

The song I decided to do was You Know I'm No Good because I connect with it and just love the lyrics to it, hope you guys enjoy, I knew coming into this week being in the bottom two last week I needed to step up so hopefully I did that

I understand that it is shaky, but that is because I was crying. I was super emotional this week due to what this song means to me. I hope everyone understands. This song is dedicated to Caleb because I miss him in this competition. I love you all
