After a long and grueling casting process, the cast has been determined.

Of the nearly 30 people to apply, 13 have been chosen to participate in the experiment.  They have been notified and accepted their role.

If you applied and did not receive a mail from me then I am sorry but I was unable to cast a lot of people.

I will post here updates throughout the game so you can follow along.

To those who were chosen to participate, you MUST keep your participation in the season a secret until you are eliminated and I reveal your participation in the season here.  Be prepared, the game begins tomorrow.

All 13 Solitarians have taken their place in Solitary and upon immediate entry were told an important new rule in Solitary as well as participated in their very first Test.

They were informed this season there would be no double eliminations with each Treatment finding one casualty.

In addition, they were informed all Tests were now MANDATORY as the worst performer in each Test will earn a penalty in the upcoming Treatment while the winner still earns Safety.

They then faced their very face Test, the Intuition Test which had the following rules:

"Welcome to your Intuition Test.

Based on the information I provide on each of the 13 current residents in Solitary based on their application (their age and occupation), you must from a list of possibilities identify what each person's favorite number, color and word are according to their applications (yours included).

Each correct response will earn you 1 point.

NOTE: Before you post your guess you must post anywhere in the pod:

PRESSES GREEN BUTTON

If you post your guess BEFORE pressing this phrase you will be penalized FIVE POINTS.

You will have 1 guess which will be posted in your pod.  The player who has the most points will earn safety from the 1st Treatment.

In addition, the player who earns the LEAST points will receive a PENALTY in the 1st Treatment.

If there is a tie then time will play a factor.  It will be time from when I post the options for each category to the time you make your guess."

The Solitarian who performed the worst and earned a penalty in the Treatment was the only one to earn a penalty in the Test by not pressing the green button correctly before posting their guess.  That Solitarian was Number 6.

The Solitarian who performed the best with 2 players being tied and winning based on time and has earned safety from the 1st Treatment is Number 7.

The Solitarians will start their 1st Treatment later today.

Solitary has experienced it's 1st casualty.

The 12 Solitarians who did not earn safety in the Test competed in a grueling Treatment.

The rules:

"It is now time for your 1st Treatment to begin.

I feel it is only fitting you start Solitary 2.0 the way the original Solitary ended.

I would like to welcome everyone to..
.
.
.
.
The Hammock from Hell 2.0

For those who followed the original Solitary, do not worry as it will not be a 5 day treatment but it will be a modified version thus the 2.0

In this treatment you will need to hang from a hammock made of 2 chains for as long as possible.

When you are ready to begin, you will create a topic that MUST be titled:

CHAIN HAMMOCK

With the initial description having the following posted in it:

STARTS CHALLENGE

If you do not start it correctly, it simply does not count as starting.

From that point on you will hang on as long as possible by posting the phrase:

HANGS FROM HAMMOCK

Each subsequent post will be made FIVE MINUTES after the previous post.  So once you make the topic, the 1st official post will be made FIVE MINUTES after that (so when the topic reads 5 min ago).  The next post will then be posted 5 minutes after the most recent post (when the most recent post says 5 min ago)

You will continue to do this for as long as you possibly can.  If at any point you post the phrase too early OR too late then you fall from the Hammock and the Treatment ends with the time you hung in total counting as your score.

An IMPORTANT NOTE is that if at any point 2 consecutive posts are separated by 5 minutes then you are good.  Even if a majority of the time they are separated by 6 minutes, as long as they are separated by 5 minutes at ANY POINT it is considered a successful hang.

In the official topic only the official phrases as posted above can be posted there.  If at any time you post the wrong phrase then that WILL RESULT IN THE TREATMENT ENDING with your time clocked in at that point being your score.

The Solitarian who hangs for the LEAST TOTAL amount of time will be forced to press the Red Button and leave Solitary as it's 1st casualty.

As Number 6 received a penalty for finishing last in the Test, whatever their final score is in time will have 10 MINUTES (2 total posts) deducted from it thus pushing them closer to elimination.

You must START this challenge by TOMORROW (Saturday) at 11:59 pm est (roughly 33 hours from now).  If you are still playing after the deadline, that is ALRIGHT as long as you start BEFORE the official DEADLINE.

If you have any questions or clarifications about these rules, ask them here and I will respond.

Good luck Solitarians."

The 12 remaining Solitarians participated in their next Test, the Rearrangement test.

They were given a block of text and had to rearrange letters in the text to form a list of past contestants, tests and treatments of the television show, Solitary.

With a scoring system based on the parameters of:

Past Contestants - Pod Number they were in
Tests - Number of Pod who won it
Treatments - Number of people who quit it

All 12 participated and of them, 3 were disqualified for using more of a certain letter than they had in the base text and will all receive a penalty in the upcoming treatment.  Those three players were Numbers 6, 12 and 13.

Of the 12, four of them scored over 300 and two tied for the most points with the tiebreaker taken to the max, thus both won this Test and BOTH earned safety from the upcoming Treatment.  Those two players who earned safety are Numbers 7 and 8.

Solitary has suffered it's 2nd casualty.

With 2 Solitarians earning safety from the Treatment during the Test, the remaining 10 participated in the Solitary In-VAL-tational.  They played 9 holes of Solitary Golf (10 for those who received a penalty in the Test) by facing puzzles to better their chances in Golf to advance to the hole based on a Chatzy randomizer with the faster the puzzles were solved, the better their chances at finishing a hole in less strokes.  Choices were also involved in which they had the opportunity to choose randomizer options based on their puzzle ability as well as taking a risk at a hole-in-one on a hole yet risking penalty strokes.

This treatment the eliminated player was

Finishing in 12th place is Pod Number 12.

The 11 remaining Solitarians participated in their next Test, the Counters test.

They were given a block of text and had to count how many 1-letter words, 2-letter words and so on were in the text that contained 518 words.

There was a scoring system in which they earned penalty points in which each number word they were off in a group they earned that many points.  So if there were two 5-letter words and they said there were 4 then they earned 10 penalty points.

All of this had to be done within a 1 hour time limit.

All 11 participated and of them, 2 were disqualified for posting their guess before they pressed the Green Button and will both receive a penalty in the upcoming treatment.  Those players were Numbers 8 and 10.

Of the 11, three of them scored under 50 and of those three, one Solitarian won this Test and earned safety from the upcoming Treatment.  That player who earned safety is Number 2.

Solitary has suffered it's next casualty.

With 1 Solitarian earning safety from the Treatment during the Test, the remaining 10 participated in the Piece It Together Treatment.  They were sent a link to a 100 piece jigsaw puzzle, with the puzzle being a completely blacked out screen.  They had to solve the puzzle in the fastest time then screenshot their time as well as have their Tengaged profile LOGGED ON visible in the same shot.

This treatment the eliminated player was

Finishing in 11th place is Pod Number 13.

The 10 remaining Solitarians participated in their next Test, the Silence is Deadly test.

This was a combination of 2 competitions from Solitary 1.0, the Silence Treatment and the Russian Roulette test.

Based on how many posts they had in their pod they were assigned a certain number of water pistols from 2 to 9.  They then were given the opportunity to gain information on the other pods by asking 3 of them a question and then getting info on how the other 6 did in one of the previous tests or treatments.

They then created a ranking of who they most to least wanted to target.  Based on this and starting with the person with the most pistols they target one Solitarian and that Solitarian then faces a randomizer in which all but 1 of their pistols results in safe or ELIMINATED.  When they are ELIMINATED they are out and if safe they stay in but with 1 less water pistol.  They then chose anyone else to target (based on their list) EXCEPT the Solitarian who had targeted them.

All 10 participated and the Solitarian who was first eliminated will receive a penalty in the upcoming treatment.  That player was Number 7.

Of the 10, the last 2 remaining Solitarians would win this Test and earn safety from the upcoming Treatment.  Those players who earned safety are Numbers 10 and 11.

Solitary has suffered it's next casualty.

With 2 Solitarians earning safety from the Treatment during the Test, the remaining 8 participated in the Rainbow Connection Treatment.  They had to use karmas of 15 Tengaged users they select (1 per color level) and use them to create 4 different equations (5 for the player who earned a penalty in the Test) based on different parameters of math signs.  There was a penalty system with a penalty factor issued for how far the equations are from being equal.

This treatment the eliminated player was

Finishing in 10th place is Pod Number 1.
