Hopefully you have all acquainted yourself with the main twist of this game, as it will affect every single decision you will make from here on out. You are all about to go to war--not just with your tribe, but also with your class...and ultimately, WITH YOURSELF!

War is not fair, and unfortunately, this twist may not be either. Even if you are able to avoid losing a tribe member after failing in a challenge, you will face a disadvantage at the next one. Will you be able to fall out of this vicious cycle once you're in it? Will you be able to lead your tribe to victory while simultaneously ensuring that you do not come off as a big challenge threat to the other tribes in case your tribe loses? There are many aspects to the Scorched Earth twist that seem so against the basic tenets of Survivor, and that is why this should be an interesting game.

Before we reveal the tribes, let's reveal the location of this season.

You are all standing on the desolate uninhabited Al-Abbas island in Syria. The scorched earth military strategy was used in this area as recently as 2014 by the rebels during the Syrian Civil War. Experts say that the environmental damage produced by this tactic was so severe that it will take up to 80 years for the earth to fully recover.
