Each show is created by what we call "Hosts." Each host has a certain idea about the direction they want the show to go in, some hosts are very open to what you want to do, and other will have some guidelines for you to follow.

Hosts that allow many things in their shows tend to have less of a story, but offer more things to do

Hosts that set guidelines can create realistic and enjoyable stories, but it may require you to rethink some of your actions in the show. These shows may give your character a "mission" or "goal" for the episode, this can range anywhere from going to a certain event during the episode, to having certain interactions with different cast members.

You will have to contact your host for a variety of things, including scheduling issues, activity issues, and role issues.

Shows that have an open storyline will usually allow very dramatic things to happen [Rape, pregnancies, death, etc] these will be encouraged and you wont have to ask the host about doing them. Shows with some rules or guidelines will require you to ask the hosts about doing these kinds of things. All you have to do is mail the host about what you want to do and they will get back to you as soon as possible :D

Make sure that if a host mails you that you respond! Hosts will answer your mails as soon as they can so please show them the same courtesy :D
