Episode 13 “Lies Are Okay In This Game”
This season on… Survivor Japan!
4 tribes of 5 were formed….
The gender imbalance was always a huge factor into consideration.
At the start, the boys were coming off on top, when Colleen flipped to their side, the only tribe with female prosperity was Tarra with Adaline, Jazz & Cloé.
By merge the women had managed to go from being the first 2 boots, to making merge with 8-5 majority, which they tried to make work, but… the women proved to be too threatening for each other, and they targeted each other… but when they were unified, they used that to their advantage, and 4 out of this top 5, are now female.
Colleen started off in a power position with the men, but quickly ruffled feathers with her hatred for Clarissa, which seemed out of nowhere. In a swap, when Clarissa gained power, Colleen had to lay low in hopes the majority kept her safe, and it worked and the power struggle of Clarissa vs Colleen went into the merge, where Colleen used Jonas in attempt to make other big moves… when her moves never worked, she developed a “if it ain't me” strategy, until she eventually got given the legacy advantage, and first helped take Clarissa out; and then used her advantage, which wasn't even needed, and survived yet another vote, without the majority casted on her. Can her Sandra like strategy give her the win?
Cloé was using her looks as a mechanism to get men wrapped around her finger, and used Matt for her favor, especially in a swap when he threw challenges to her. Even though she didn't get to blindside her first fake romance, she was always eager to make big moves, and her relationship with Tyra paid off, when Tyra gave her her idol. And she used it to blindside big player, Tyler. Making merge with her closest ally, Tyra, they instantly had to fend off a target by starting girl alliances, but when the girls targeted each other, they both went to challenges for guaranteed protection, after Tyra got voted out, Cloé won 3, and she started to work on social game, starting a new fake showmance with Robb, who are now both considered the biggest threats to win. Can Cloé avoid the target and make Final Tribal Council, and will the jury give her the win?
Madison came into this game in the minority, with her only ally being the biggest threat in this game, Tyra. Her social skills with Harry in particularly put her into a slightly better position, but when she made it into a swap, she found herself into a power position, and she did not waste it, making multiple people upset at her, when she made big moves and blindsided basically everyone she could on her tribe with Adaline. By merge, she wanted to stay on the girl power side, but ended up failing, and getting blindsided MULTIPLE times, to the point where she hardly ever was on the right side for votes. -Colleen sits down at her shelter, burying her face in her hands, not crying, but out of being tired-
Colleen, CF - This is… pretty rough… I can't lie. I'm suffering a bit out here right now… Day, like, 33. It's a struggle… I don't have much fight left in me..
-Colleen walks into the forest for tree mail and finds a “LEGACY ADVANTAGE”-
Colleen, CF - At my weakest point in the season, a glimmer of hope shines down on me… the legacy advantage… Jazz willed it off to me… I have to survive ONE VOTE, and I may be down… but I'm not out. It's IMMUNITY at top 6… which is pretty crucial! I can have an easy way to the end if I just survive this one vote… ONE VOTE.
*IMMUNITY CHALLENGE*
-Everyone walks into the challenge area-
Jeff - I'll take it back, Robb.
-Robb hands over the necklace-
Jeff - Today’s challenge is simple. It's the house of cards competition! You all begin the challenge with 150 wooden tiles. Using the tiles, you must build a house of cards up to certain height. The first person to reach this target height will win immunity from the next tribal council. Survivors, ready? Go!
-Right away everyone starts taking off in this challenge-
*ELAPSED TIME : 5 MINUTES*
-Everyone develops separate strategies in the early process of this challenge-
Jeff - The different strategies are abundant. Will they be balancing the numbers throughout the tower well enough to match the height, though?
-Madison has quite a lead so far, and is about 100 cards in, and is almost to the target already-
Jeff - Very early progress made, could this be a 7 minute challenge?
-Almost instantaneously the wind picks up and her entire house is blown down-
Madison - **** You, Jeff!
Jeff - Don’t hate the host, hate the game.
-Colleen starts to develop a strong base and is making progress, same with Clarissa and Cloé-
-Colleen notices she's almost to the top, and she doesn't have enough cards to reach the target-
Colleen - Oh my god… -starts quickly unbuilding-

Barbie, CF - I think we're sorta doing fantastically. Me and my girls did that, just saying. We took out a very big jury threat. And I'm SOOOO HAPPY ABOUT IT. I'm a blindside beast!
Eric goes up to Barbie - What the **** was that?
Eric, CF - Barbie has been doing whatever Barbie wants for quite sometime now… and I'm over it. She needs to realize… an alliance isn't just she does whatever while I sit there… clueless.
Eric - That was not okay.
Barbie - Doll, it's a game. -lies down in her tent-
Barbie, CF - I’m not anybody’s toy or anything… I do whatever I want to do, and no man can tell me what to do. I'm a housewife not a pushover… Sorry Eric, my name may be Barbie, but I'm not a doll… And if you think you can just take me out next… *pulls idol out of her bra* I got a few tricks up my sleeve.
-Madison cries, alone-
Madison, CF - Harry was my best friend in this game… it's rough. Everyone around me sorta… disappears. I mean, I know I drifted apart from Tyra, but… even she was a good friend. *cries* I feel alone.
-Cloé hugs Madison-
Cloé, CF - We ultimately decided to keep Harry around… and BANG… the bitches did it without us! I am SHOCKED. But, I applaud them. They proved they're not a pile of goats and sheeps. But, if their alliance stays in tact it's 4-3 and if we can get Eric on our side. That's a potential drawing rocks situation, so…. threat and fear tactics are the way to go!
-Back to Eric lying down-
Eric, CF - I didn't really care about Harry. I care about being lied too, so… yeah. I'm pretty rattled. Barbie is dead to me basically. That’s it!

Tyra twists her ankle during a challenge and loses immunity, but her strategic skills outweighed her inability to do challenges anymore, making the vote on her, despite Cloé’s attempts to save her.

Jazz, CF - YET AGAIN……… I'm on the bottom, in the dark, minority is my nickname, cuz people keep LYING… but… Colleen told me… Suppress my anger. Mask my anger. Calm down…

Colleen, CF - Jazz has gone bonkers again and I'm starting to realize a pattern… she is crazy about everything, like… I was just as in the minority as her, but I kept my cool… she's just too angry… it's scary. But, I think at this point… all the girls know what to do…. the boys are catching up to us. If we lose 2 more females… it'll be almost even. I think an all girls alliance might have to start… my problem is… Clarissa. For tribals we've been saying it's either one of us… Could it finally be time? We’ll see. I don't know actually. But, when you expect it the least, you're usually the one at Ponderosa the next day, so… I'm watching my back.

Cloé, CF - I did everything to save my best friend Tyra… everything failed. I'm realizing my mistake was I put the vote on Barbie… I should've put the vote on Jazz. What I wanted to happen was Barbie go to Eric about Jazz and then Eric and their alliance flips and takes Jazz out, but… guess I missed my shot. I really want Tyra to stay with maybe even no votes casted against her… I tried my hardest. Now, I tan alone.

Cloé - I tried. I failed. It's over. You guys won. I get it.

Clarissa, CF - I’m alone… again. I'm the new Madison… technically I created the “being on the bottom” arc this season, but… Now I'm on the bottom again… I feel for Madison. Last vote she was on the bottom… it's been me every other time… now I'm idol-less and my target is still here, and my allies didn't do what I thought they were to do… -wipes tears away- It’s hard… I need to change the game for myself… or I'm going next.

Episode 8 “This Is Epic”
Previously on SURVIVOR…
At first… Clarissa was at the bottom… but found an idol… then she swapped into power, but when the vote didn't go her way, her rivalry with Colleen has been lasting since day 3.
Jase & Jazz’s actions and behaviors put them at the bottom of the tribe, going into a merge, and this lead them to start an alliance.
Jase - You're pissed at your tribe, I’m pissed at my tribe… Maybe we can flip this game around and work together and take control of this game.
Jazz - YES! -they high five-
Barbie finds an idol at the challenge.
-Barbie takes the idol from the benches and puts it in her bag-
Barbie, CF - With this idol, doors are opened, and opportunities are endless…
And decides to strengthen her relationship with Eric with this information.
Barbie - You have an idol?
Barbie whispers - Me too.
And start an alliance with Clarissa.
Eric - I think we should bring Clarissa in, make this a trio and talk about this.
Adaline, who used to be on top of New Tribe Han, figured with her bonds on both sides, her alliance could be dominant, and started to try to take control of this vote.
Adaline - I’m thinking… Jazz is really unpredictable….
-Tyra quickly bobs her head towards Adaline-
Adaline - Maybe, she could go tonight, Jase in 3 days… I think she's harder to beat in challenges too….
Adaline - Jazz is someone that we'll end up seeing as a goat, but goats can win…. it's almost like it's a strategy… but it's not.
But, her lacking social skills rubbed people the wrong way.
Tyra, CF - Adaline… don't poke the bear, cuz if you're not with me, you're on your own, and you're next. I’m not here for Adolf Adaline, goodbye.
When Tyra wins immunity, people notice the holes in this alliance and take advantage of this.
The vote changing to Adaline, Jonas, who is now aligned with Colleen, tells the wrong person the new vote.
Jonas - The vote has changed…. You may not like it… It's Adaline.
-Madison’s jaw drops-
Madison, CF - Oh, no… oh, no no no… this isn't good.
Trying to change the vote, Madison gets caught in a web of lies...
Clarissa - How can I trust you won't lie again?
Madison - Hand to God, I won't pull anything… I swear.
-Madison whispers to Colleen-
Madison - Vote Jase… seriously. It just makes sense for numbers.
-Clarissa sees Madison talking to Colleen-
Clarissa, CF - Her being shady doesn't help her odds… really she's just scrambling, and it's not cute… it's sad.
At an emotional tribal council, the news gets out, and Adaline accepts her fate.
Adaline - Guys, who is the new vote?!
-No one answers-
Adaline - Guess it's me then…
And goes.
Jeff - Adaline, the tribe has spoken. -snuffs her torch, and she walks away-
Leaving Madison on the bottom.
12 people are left, who will be voted out tonight on..

Previously on SURVIVOR…
At the start… alliances formed.
Adaline, Cloé & Jazz being one.
Colleen and the men at original tribe Han another.
But with the guys turning on Colleen, a swap was unbeknown perfect for her.
At tribe Han, rivalries and tensions flared, but people not involved in the drama : Madison, Adaline & Eric formed an alliance to be swing votes each tribal. Despite Madison, Adaline & Jazz having a previous alliance.
Madison whispers to Eric - As a unit… we’re really strong.
Eric - I hear ya… I'm in.
But, Eric also has an alliance from day one on his original tribe with Barbie, until they got separated by the swap… but now Barbie has a minority alliance on her tribe with Tyra & Cloé.
After a huge twist where both tribes go to 2 separate tribals, individual immunity was up for grabs, in which Jazz and Jase won.
Tyra, knowing she's on the bottom, gives the hidden immunity idol she found days ago, to Cloé, thinking Cloé would keep it to herself, cuz Tyra thinks she's a lost cause.
Cloé, CF - I don't know what I'm going to do, but losing Tyra… so soon… it'd really take a toll on my game and mindset.
-Cloé puts her idol in her bag-
Tyra, CF - I know if I used my idol tonight, in 3 to 6 days, I'm gone.
But, when the men start to plot against Cloé, it wasn't as black and white as it seemed.
Tyler - Do we just chance it then? All on Tyra?
Harry - She seems way too upset to have an idol anyways.
Jase - Maybe Cloé does! We all vote Cloé, total blindside, if she has an idol it's wasted on Tyra, boom, she's done.
But certain people in the alliance don't like that and try to change the vote back to Tyra.
Robb, CF - When Cloé’s name got brought up…. I was shaken. For now, she's an asset to my game and a number for me… i don't like the idea of voting her off tonight.
On tribe Han, Jazz was immune and she wasn't worried about ANYTHING.
When strategy talk went at a high between the alliance, too much talk got into Jazz’s seemingly sleeping ear, and at tribal it woke.
-Jazz, pretending to sleep, smiles hearing their plan-
Jazz, CF - Tribal is gonna be SPICY! MWAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAAHAHAHAH!
Jazz - Clarissa, it's either you or Matt. Last I knew they decided on Matt. Here's exact words, Madison say, “I am so annoyed by Clarissa, she keep trying to get us to vote Colleen, it's so sad. Can we vote her out instead of Matt.”
But in the end, Matt went home either way.

Previously on SURVIVOR…
After a swap, Bill, a weak challenge competitor got voted out, making Cyrus realize that if he didn't lay low and keep a target off his back, as an old man and a self acclaimed “challenge flop”.
Colleen & Clarissa have been after each other since the beginning, and as soon as Clarissa got power, she attempted to end Colleen then and there, and thought she had the chance with an alliance with Adaline, Jazz & Madison.
When Adaline got into Eric’s head she betrayed Clarissa, by keeping Colleen, and a rivalry between Jazz & Matt stemmed.
Tyra has been targeted by Tyler & Jase, who thought they also had the votes of Harry, Robb & Jonas, but they didn't… partially because of their near obsessive hatred towards her.
Harry - I don't trust… Tyler or Jase… I think they should go before Tyra.
Robb - Same 1000%.
But, When Tyra consistently dominates challenges, even her close allies are considering turning on her.
Robb - It’s getting hard to… justify reasons… to keep her besides for the numbers, which we already have over here…
When Han loses another challenge, Madison and Adaline want to keep all potential allies in this game, and take out challenge flop, Cyrus, while almost everyone else is after each other.
When Madison gives information to the wrong gal, Clarissa tries to bend the truth in attempt to get Colleen out…
Madison - What's your thoughts on Cyrus?
Clarissa - In what sense?
Madison - As the vote?
Clarissa, CF - Madison wants Cyrus out, and… But I see this as an opportunity… to bend the truth and get who I want gone, Colleen, out.
But, it doesn't work… Making Clarissa an even bigger target.
Cyrus, CF - Clarissa and Colleen are known to hate each other… why would Colleen tell Clarissa this?
Cyrus whispers to Colleen - Did you tell Clarissa to vote me out?
Colleen - Um… I don't talk to her, so why do you think that?
Cyrus - She told me you told her that I was the vote.
Colleen - Well… that makes me pissed.
But, at the end, the tribe’s strength was most important, and Cyrus ended up getting voted out.

-Barbie and Robb are on one tribe, Jackson and Eric another-
Almost immediately, Jackson goes to Adaline addressing his concerns on Eric, after being blindsided by the vote changing from Robb to Liv before the swap, and even mentions an idol that he found, alongside Eric.
Jackson - Eric found an idol with me and didn't even tell me about the vote change.
Using this against him, Adaline immediately starts trying to orchestrate the blindside of Jackson.
Adaline, CF - Jackson is talking about how his alliance SUCKS and how he's gonna “jump ship”... How would Eric react?
On New Csez, Alpha Men try to dethrone Queen Tyra, but after Tyra dominates the challenge, even after they try to sabotage it, she knows they’re after her, but she has an idol… and goes looking for another one, quickly realizing it's been found.
Tyra, CF - I know what they did… He thought he could escape me by voting me out……… He's wrong. He awakened the dragon, and he's going to get burned… Know that. Either… Barbie, Jackson, Eric or Robb have an idol…. So, Robb and Barbie… I gots my eye on you. But, y'all are on my side so it's gucci!
When Han goes to tribal, Adaline tries to work her magic to get Jackson out, but Clarissa aggressively opposes that, wanting Colleen out.
Clarissa, CF - If this tribal doesn't go my way, that's basically just a victory to Colleen. I don't want to see this lady get what she wants. I need to work my magic… I just don't have any powers right now… -rolls eyes-
In an explosive tribal, Jazz’s mouth makes her a huge target in a, clearly distressed and paranoid, Matt, who has been too UTR to get a read on.
Matt - You don't know anything about me or Cloé.
Jazz - I know she don't like you, she think you be a little bitch. She told me and Adaline she hate you, and just using you cuz she got you wrapped around her finger, next question.
Adaline - I've wanted to tell Matt for a while, cuz he seems unmotivated as he wants to hand her everything in challenges… i think this might light a fire we haven't seen in Matt yet.
Matt - All it did was hurt my feelings.
Jazz - Then stop being a little bitch. Damn.
Jeff - Third vote… Jazz.
Jazz - **** you, Matt. Just **** you.
But in the end, it was Jackson’s torch snuffed, in a blindsided.
Jeff - Jackson, the tribe has spoken. *snuffs torch*

-Clarissa’s jaw drops-
In a tribe swap! 4 became 2, and Tyra & Clarissa seemingly can not be phased, as they have idols! As does Eric, which Jackson knows about.
But an entire tribe alliance was divided!
-Eric & Jackson are on one tribe-
-Barbie & Robb are on the other-
Tyra found herself in an admirable position as she both had an idol, and was seen as a challenge carrier, and Cloé bond over their modeling pasts.
Tyra, CF - So, that Cloé girl apparently is a super fan, and I didn't know I had those anymore… But worst comes to worst, she'll warn me if I need to use my idol. Which is cute.
Clarissa and Colleen’s rivalry grows stronger, as Clarissa forms an Anti-Colleen female alliance, with every female besides Colleen!
Clarissa whispers - Remember how the females had majority on my tribe and Starr got out? Colleen is literally a man, she voted Starr out. She turned on the girl power, and I want my revenge… that's all!
Madison, CF - So, Clarissa comes to me, I didn't have to do much, she just was like “come on” and she offered me up a girl alliance, and basically called Colleen a guy, actually… I think she literally did… So, I guess she's not apart of this… girl alliance, but… I’m so down with this idea.
But Adaline & Jazz have their own agenda’s, taking out Cloé’s old showmance, Matt.
Jazz - He’s throwing… is he serious?!
Adaline - Oh, my god… seriously? It's so obvious. -rolls eyes- If we lose, he has to go… he just has to… Sorry Cloé!
Jazz - Mmmmhmmm.
When Barbie and Bill perform weakly in almost all challenges, Bill’s bad attitude, and constant sexist attitude gets him voted off.
Jeff - Bill, the tribe has spoken.

Episode 3 “Biting On That Bait”
Previously on SURVIVOR…
After Clarissa’s best friend was sent home, Clarissa needed anything to save herself, and ended up finding just that, with the Hidden Immunity Idol… But, that excitement might've been unjustified as Colleen suspects she found just that, and started spreading that rumor, maybe a bit too much, as people started turning on her
Tyler, CF - I don't know or think Clarissa has it, but I think if she does we might utilize it to get rid of both the idol and Colleen. Cuz Colleen is getting… Scary obsessed.
When Tribe Tarra evidently has a weaker link in Matt, his cuddling partner Cloé realizes, she can't associate with him much longer and gets excited in planning his blindside.
Cloé, CF - I am not gonna be a nice player… If I have to manipulate Matt into thinking I'm his sheep girlfriend, I'm doing it… But, I'm not a sheep. I'm the herder. I’m full on professing my love to Matt, I’ll talk to him asking him when I can meet his family, I will PROPOSE to him, just so his blindside will be that much greater…. -smiles- It'll be fun!
But, when a reward goes wrong, the Csez Alcohol Alliance’s 2 ladies turned on each other, and tried to get each other out, while the men just wanted to take out the outsider, Robb.
Eric, CF - This is ANNOYING…… Like, these girls are so stubborn and catty, like…. Can you just VOTE THE PERSON NOT IN THE ALLIANCE, JESUS CHRIST.
At tribal council, everyone, even her closer friend Robb, voted her out, besides Jackson, who stuck with the tie vote blindside plan against Robb.
Jeff - Liv… the tribe has spoken.
Liv turns around- You were right… I did it… I threw the challenge.

Episode 2 “This Is A Miracle”
Previously on Survivor…
The tribes were separated into 4 tribes of 5, with a minor gender barrier, so on certain tribes, like Tribe Han, power alliances were formed.
Clarissa & Starr felt comfortable with Colleen, but Colleen was torn as she personally disliked Clarissa particularly.
Similarities appeared in the castaways of Team Csez, specifically in their appreciation of alcohol. Leaving Robb, a sober hockey player, in the dark.
Sparks fly at Tarra as Cloé and Matt get real close, despite Adaline and Jazz, her early allies, not being happy with that.
When Han goes to tribal, other teams decide to strategize already, but when Yung wants Madison out, Harry decides to potentially align himself with her, but not Tyra, who finds and idol clue, but also hears their conversation, causing distrust.
Back at Han, Colleen is seemingly the swing vote, and ultimately sides with the boys, sending Starr home due to her weak challenge performance and answers at tribal.

-Tribe Han gets back to camp, Clarissa walking distantly away from them all-
Clarissa, CF - Colleen decided to turn against the girls alliance, which is a really dumb move in her case as the other side is all men, all 2 of them, and she's clearly the odd one out… She may be a bit older, a bit more crusty and unappealing than us, but a woman’s a woman and we could've slayed the men together, but… Guess not.
-Clarissa lies down alone, away from her tribe mates, who are going to sleep themselves-
-Colleen looks over at Clarissa and chuckles-
Colleen, CF - Clarissa is a baby. A 22 year old, Princess-ey little brat. I didn't vote her way… Boo-hoo. Goodbye! But, now she's pouting and moping around and leaving a comfortable shelter just for attention and to sleep alone… It's ludacris, baby behavior. I am not a daycare monitor. I'm a lawyer, goodbye. This rivalry is starting… NOW. Hopefully it's ended by the end of the episode, America!

Matt, Confessional - Going into this, I want to be real, honest and just a morally ethical player and not make my time on the island a negative experience for me, and make it a learning experience.
-Adaline sits alone, introverted by herself, looking at fish-
Adaline, Confessional - Being on Survivor is going to be an experience like no other I've been to. It's going to really stretch my creative freedom and potentially be a time to press my braincells and really be cutthroat and… Sorta savage! Haha.

-Clarissa’s hair blows in the wind, and she flips her hair back, while looking into the waters-
Clarissa, Confessional - I am a fairly ordinary basic early 20’s girl, I… love God and believe in the Lord, Jesus Christ, but I'm not a Jesus freak and I do see the logical side of life and the scientific side of science and medicine, so… I’ll bring in a moral strategy, but a logical strategy. Lies are needed in survivor, and I'll do the strategy and backstabbing, but I'll also pray every night for survival and peace and happiness.
-Colleen glares at Clarissa, with hatred in her eyes-
Colleen, Confessional - Have you ever looked at someone and just thought… “Bitch”? Cuz… Well, y'all caught me.. I am a HUGE one. I'm not a people person, correction. I'm a “I hate people” person. But, I can just TELL, Clarissa is a bitch. A fake one too. At least I'm a real one. I hate people and people know it. Clarissa is probably going to get into a showmance… With like 3 guys and then to her bitch squad, which won't be edited in, she’ll get a super sweetheart edit too, just watch… But, she’ll be like “OH MY GOD, I HATE MY BOYFRIENDS” plural, and… She’s just gonna SUCK.
