Walking Again

Breaking an ankle shouldn't have been an excuse for me to stop my life but it pretty much turned into one. I stopped doing all the things I was doing and became lazy. I can't even list all the things I haven't taken care of that I should have. The only one to blame though is me and a lot of the things I could have still done with my ankle as it was. As I'm relearning how to use my leg again though, I've found that I actually eat two meals a day (sometimes) and sleep less than 12 hours (as if 10 hours is really better... =P). I go outside on occasion too. Now I just have to find the motivation to do things again. Minor depression will not get the best of me! =)

Broken Ankle

I broke my right ankle about three days ago, which is why I have not really been around (in addition to school work). I'm going to try to keep up with my mails but I don't think I'll be around on here a lot until after school is out and I have plenty of time to rest.

Leaving Tengaged

I was thinking about this yesterday and I came to a decision. It was actually surprisingly easier than one might think or maybe not so surprising to those that know me pretty well. I joined this site almost a year ago and since today is April 1st, I thought it would only be right to play an April fools day joke on you all =). Happy April Fool's Day Everyone!

Dreams About Unknown People

Have you ever had a dream about someone that you had never seen before? Someone that doesn't even exist (unless there is some weird forces going on)?

I had a dream like that this morning. I was in an office I never been to before, in city that could have been anywhere because I didn't recognize anything (all I know is there was a white skyscraper where construction was going on). Then I went into the elevator with this very good looking guy. He was tanned, shoulder length dark brown hair (super straight but it sort curled at the tips), designer glasses, medium build, very well trimmed beard (I can't remember the style, goatee maybe), strong jaw, high cheekbones. and brown eyes. I couldn't pin point his ethnic background but his eyes were amazing!

Anyone else have dreams like this? I always seem to wake up wishing I knew the person.

How Time Passes

So I had a small conversation on AIM with an online friend of mine I haven't spoken with for several years. We've been friends since I was in middle school and I used have a virtual crush on him, despite never meeting him in person (I never went to any anime conventions). It almost feels like only a couple of years ago we'd talk to each other on a message board I used to visit everyday. Now we're both getting ready to graduate. It makes me wonder what kind of fond memories I'll have of the people on this website in nine years.

Music Game!

1. Put your library on shuffle.
2. Write the first lines of the first 20....30(!) songs that play, no matter how embarrassing.

Some Facts About Me

A lot of people don't seem to know very much about me. So, here is a little bit:

- I'm fairly liberal and I love politics.
- While a lot of women seems to love malls, the joy I get out of them is less the shopping experience and more the architectural experience.
- I'm not vegetarian but I admire people who are.
- If I was not interested in film, I most likely would have majored in Journalism, Geology, IT, or Fashion Design.
- I tend to "Forgive and Forget," it makes moving through life much easier.
- I love the situational brain teaser stories.

An Afternoon with Corey

For any of you who watched the first day of Stars 6, you may know that Corey and I attend the same university. We met in person for the first time this afternoon. I must say that he is a delightful person to talk to! Of course we discussed Tengaged. Everything from Tengaged radio and stars to personality types in the game and the relationships. Not everything was Tengaged related though. We also discussed old Mac Adapters. Another soul who understands! Plus the horrible prices of books, of course.

It was fun and Corey is awesome. =)

I Miss LA

So, I'm finally back from LA. Man, I miss it! All the nice weather beats the cold we have in D.C. I guess another big reason to miss it is the fact that I'm at school again. Not that I hate school but I would love to be interning at Sony Pictures instead. I just have to remind myself that I only have this semester and one more after that. Then I'm out of here.

Lies

So I've found that there are a few people that have spreading lies about me. I won't name names here in public because I believe people can change. They've basically been telling people that I'm a ruthless player and backstabber. Those of you who know me, know that I stay true to my alliances when I have them. I also do my best to bring my friends as far as I can and when I can't for any reason, I feel bad.

I just wanted to clear things up after reading these libelous remarks.

Got Talent? We're Still Looking!

Phanne and I are looking for people on tengaged with talent of any kind. This will be set up in an X-Factor/American Idol sort of way where the Tengaged community will judge you.

Your talent can be anything. Writing poems, photography, digital art, making/finding videos, personal talents (i.e. singing, dancing, armpit tunes, burping the alphabet), comedy sketches, anything at all, really. We are looking for anything and everything that could be considered a "talent" in the broadest sense of the word.

In the spirit of American Idol and X-Factor, you will have ample time to come up with your next act. So you can rehearse. And we can hopefully get a t$ prize for the winner.

Please signup to be a contestant. Depending on the talent pool, we will decide how many people will make it to the call backs.
