Was down for 20 minutes while I updated and rebooted my router. Blogs page withdrawal is no joke — sweating, hands shaking, racing thoughts, the whole nine yards.
So I hate, hate, HATE taking selfies or pictures of myself. I can’t stand it. But I don’t care about going on cam or vlogging and posting a video — I’ve done that when I was in Stars and just because I felt like it here before. Why am I uncomfortable with one but not the other? idk.
That Survivor: Fiji was by all accounts supposed to be "Cook Islands 2.0" after the absolute disaster of a reception that season received. Not even the racial segregation (though that certainly was a big part of it) but the fact that it's largely a boring snoozefest that production had to openly rig on multiple occasions to get a half decent outcome.
So with all of that feedback, what does CBS decide to go? "Yep, 4 tribes again, yes, divide 'em all by race again, sounds good." I honestly think there's an argument to be made that Melissa McNulty's last second panic attack saved the show (forcing them to do 19 people and the made up on the spot "everyone on the beach Day 1" twist that we ended up getting), but that's a blog for another day.
