I was looking into it, and apparently, when the Beauty tribe was working on the puzzle, they were having difficulty completing one jump so that the ball could land in the place they wanted it to. However, apparently, they were going BACKWARDS, because if they successfully got the ball into the pathway they wanted it to, it would have lead them to the start! That's right, they were just some easy turns away form easily winning, but they instead went backwards. Guess you do need brains after all...

Yeah, according to Morgan, it was LJ's fault that they were in that area. He thought that you basically just had to get it into the outside layer of the maze, but it was more complicated than that. Also, obviously, Jeremiah had no idea what he was doing, so I doubt he was much help.
