I sorta see that. I have a job that’s perfectly fine in my field, but feeling somewhat underpaid, I started looking around to see what there is.
There’s not a lot of people in my area that would be applying for this type of position, so I’m actually really surprised how little luck I’ve had. To be fair, it’s more traditional to hire in the fall for my position, though.
I agree with Sam works both ways, I have applications come through every day 50% don’t answer when trying to contact, 45% who answer and arrange trial shifts don’t show up.
