WILL F6 BOOT
With Chris having the idol and Robert going to Exile, this tribal brought the paranoia that production loves to see. All day the C & A group was waffling with what to do as they couldn’t split the votes with the rock twist. Still in the last hour, there was no solid plan. Out of nowhere, we hear that Tyler messaged Alfie and he told Alfie for Chris to play the idol and to vote for X so that way two idols could be burned at one tribal. It was a crazy plan, but Alfie reported it to Chris & Jabbar. The three of them decided that they wanted to keep Tyler to cause distrust between the C & A’s but they didn’t want X to leave either. So, they decided to tell X, and that’s when the votes flipped. The C & A’s group got together and the plan completely changed to Tyler. However, the intrigue of this tribal wasn’t over because Chris still had the idol and he didn’t know if he was going to play it. On call Alfie, Chris and Jabbar were back and forth until the last minute. They decided though to take the risk and just hearing their reaction on call was one of our favourite moments of the season. It had the chaos, the paranoia, the drama and an unpredictable vote out because I expected Tyler to be a lock for the finale.
What made the F6 round so monumental was how it drastically changed the course of five people’s games all through one call conversation with Ethan and Jabbar. All game, there was an unspoken tension between the two players as they were both close with X who was leaking a lot of what one of them was saying about the other. They enjoyed talking with one another but game talk only went so far when they knew it would be immediately leaked. What shifted this round though was the fact that it was the last day and they each had nothing to lose. They dropped their walls and told each other everything that they were told about each other and came to the conclusion that they were purposely being pitted against one another. With the Robert boot still fresh in Ethan’s mind and Jabbar needing to take the power fully into his hands and away from X, they planned out the entire F6-F3 rounds and executed it tremendously. Through it, Ethan had to unfortunately vote out one of his closest allies in Willy which was no easy feat, but he took the necessary steps to secure him a ticket to the FTC without X or Chris, arguably the biggest jury threats. Meanwhile, X had told Chris straight up that he was voting him out which stirred Chris awake and into a frenzy to save himself and attempt to flush Garrett’s idol, only to be blindsided by a 3-2-1 vote, despite it working in his favour. For all of this, this tribal won Tribal of the Season!
