The race will be ranked in a point format person with the quickest time 1 point second quickest time 2 points and so on the team with the highest number of points at the end of each leg will be eliminated so you want to try and keep your scores as low as possible

Here are the rules

Detour: this is a choice of two tasks to complete the detour teams will have to send me either a link to a blog or game or send me the answer in order to complete the detour failure to do the detour or get the answer wrong will result in a 45 minute penalty

Roadblock: this is a task you must perform teams will have to send me either a link to a game or blog or an answer to a question in order to complete the roadblock failure to complete the roadblock or answer the task incorrectly will result in a 1 hour penalty

Fast forward: if you complete this task teams will be able to stop racing and will not have to finish any other tasks on that leg a fast forward is generally more time consuming then most other tasks to finish the fast forward you must send me either a link to a completed task or an answer to a question if you get the fast forward wrong you will receive a two hour penalty your end time will be measure from when you mail me the answer

Yield: there are three yields on this race teams are only permitted to use the power once if a teams can use it whenever one comes up in the race to yield someone simply post you name and then underneath your name post the name of the team you want to yield yields will not count if the person has already passed that section yields are on a first come first serve basis if a team is yielded they will receive an extra 30 minutes on their overall time

U – Turn: there are three u turns in this race teams are only permitted to use one         u turn power if someone is u turned they will have to go back to the detour task and complete the other side of the detour which they did not previously complete to u  turn someone simply post your name and then the name of the tea you would like to u turn failure to complete the other side of the detour or refusal will result in a 2 hour penalty u turns are on a first come first serve basis

Note if a team attempts to complete the other side of the detour and gets the task wrong or doesn’t quite finish it they will be issued the same penalty as getting a detour wrong which is 45 minutes

Note a yield may only be used once by a team and a u turn may only be used once by a team

Pit stop: when you arrive at the pit stop you must message me the word end however to discourage cheating there will be another word associated with that country posted below the pit stop sign therefore teams must post me the word end and the word below the pit stop sign to finish the race failure to type the second word under the pit stop line will result in a 1 hour penalty
