kyoot So, the following terrorist attacks were committed by Muslims according to you: Knoxville shooting, Christopher Dorner's shooting spree, Wisconsin Sihk Temple shooting, Boston Marathon Bombing, Overland park Jewish community center, Las Vegas Shootings, Charleston, Colorado Springs Planned Parenthood shooting, and so on. You fail to realize "homegrown" means they went through all of the "vetting" they had to do or already lived in America. The problem is that no amount of "extreme vetting" would have stopped anyone coming into this country from doing what they did.
Is the ban a good idea? In some ways, it can be. But will it work? No.
kyoot They came from Russia and Kyrgyzstan, and lived in the United States since 2002. They came into the country right after 9/11, when America was at it's strongest in regards to keeping people out that could be potential terrorists, remember?
They lived here for the remainder of their lives(one is still alive atm). The vetting just doesn't work because you can't predict what anyone will do. It's like background checks for guns, you can't predict what someone will do if they don't have a track record of criminal activity.
kyoot Homegrown, i'm sure they weren't practicing "Islamic Jihadism" when they were kids. Maybe it's the way they were treated while living here that caused them to do go to that? Maybe alienating every single person that is "Muslim" or resembles a Muslim makes them turn on this country.
