KrisStory There's nothing random about it. He's one of the most brilliant, deep, and interesting minds in all of history. He had visions of a great life that no one else could see. And 90% of his legacy thrown down the drain by Thomas Douchebag Edison. He's easily in my like top 5 people ever.
dumbginger yeah everyone thinks Thomas Edison was some big hot shot nice guy, but no that guy was CUTTHROAT and a dick. Told Tesla if he improved some invention (can't remember what) then he'd give him a bonus/raise. Then when Tesla did it, he said he was joking LMAO. Ass hole. Glad that Tesla won the "battle of the currents."
Thing is, Tesla believed that he had found the way to create energy from nothing, which led to investors dropping out because if energy could come from nothing, then why would anyone buy it?
His brilliance cost him in the end, the dude died with pretty much nothing.
KrisStory oh believe me, I know. he saw beyond business and money. free unlimited power for everyone. he's truly a legend. fun fact you may not know about him- he was completely celibate, died a virgin. wanted to focus on his pursuits and women distracted from that. although, near the end of his life, he go really bad schizophrenia and fell in love with a pigeon
