at what age/grade were you taught about slavery?
not like the age you learned about it from tv or some shit but when you were actually taught it in school

i cant remember. its a super dark and serious subject but also I feel like it's something they should know fairly earl, idk

Year 8, I believe it was. In history, we learned about the....I think it was called the Golden Triangle? Awful but true history. We learned about Slave Trade for sure, we probably learned about segregation but when we learned about American history itself, it was more about the economy and General Custer. :/
