Berkshires | Cast Assessment Ep.1

Aug 30, 2014 by Hannah_Parks
This is for TheRenny to read and anyone else who would like to read it as well.
I find Renny's backyard games rather amazing, as the music, confessionals and the camera angling is great for what they have to work with, and lovable to watch.
With that being said, I love Renny's backyard game so much I've decided to write a cast assessment on whom I think is doing well in the game in rankings. For the Pre-Merge I will be doing them in tribes, but when it hits merge I'll do it for all.

Yellow Tribe
__________

5th: Gator (Quite Honestly, he's a nice guy so far, but as we all know niceness doesn't get you far in a game of Survivor "Bailey, 4th". On top of that, Gator seems to be more focused on being an outdoors type of worker bee, rather than work on the strategic game, which is key in this game).

4th: Nate (Not much to say, Nate's arrogance I don't think will let him make merge, He is very smart and got the challenge done, but the fact he's the smartest, and probably the strongest, that's a strike, Strike two comes in from what I said about his arrogance, he talks down to these people in his confessionals as if he's somewhat the leader "please", I can honestly say his arrogance will land him most likely 1st or 2nd out on his tribe).

3rd/3rd: Alyssa and Jacey (We didn't get to see much of Alyssa or Jacey's gameplay, and yet again it is Ep.1 So i'm sure we'll see some very shortly, other than that, The reason they are above Nate and Gator is because I'm sure they are laying low atm not to put a target on there backs).

2nd: "Bearnap" (Now you may be asking why? But this cast to me really doesn't match up to Season 1 so far, which had memorable characters like (Brandon, Tisha, Matt, Molly) and strategic ones (Tyler, Tisha, Matt). But if I have to say, the only ones who even talk game on this tribe are "Bearnap" and Bailey, plain and simple, So I truly hope these two make an alliance, "Bearnap" seems to know that making alliances is going to play a very big key role in the game, So I could see her making merge, but her admitting she has a big mouth and a tendency to screw things up, really lands her in the #2 spot.

1st: Bailey (I believe Bailey, is playing the best game thus far. Episode 1, he not only did decent in the challenge, but he also gave Season 1 incite to the other players of his tribe about what to expect, Plus because he's a returning player, I kinda think some look up to him in a way, I think he'd be the 4th Boot on his tribe if it came down to it.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Red Tribe
________

6th: Sahra (Obvious choice, made no legitimate deals to keep herself safe, and on top of that, made no effort to sway Molly to possible make it 3 v 3, obvious last place).

5th: Nichole (I think Nichole is the Racheal of last season, how Racheal was all gitty and kinda dumb, social but awkward, not strategic at all, and I believe she'll either be taken out early for no solid deals/alliances, or she'll go far for not being as strategic and athletic as the others).

4th: Zach (To me personally, when Molly, Alex and Jake all mentioned there alliance, They almost all said "Oh and Zach". As if he's the fourth vote. Also even if he tried to make an alliance with the guys, Molly would just Idol him out for 3rd Boot of the tribe for the simple fact I'm sure Molly trust Alex and Jake a lot more, so Zach is the 4th man).

3rd: Alex (It gets hard from here, but Alex gets third for the simple fact if anyone's willing to make a big move, it'll most likely be to take out a muscle competitor like Alex and not someone that's smaller like Jake. On top of that, Jake received 2 votes from Sahra and Nichole, which means to them, they'd rather him gone over the other three... So his social game cannot be on point at this point in the game for him to already have targets on him.

2nd: Jake (I honestly think while bigger targets like, Nate, Alex and Zach. Will be seen for their strength. Smaller targets like, Jake and Bailey could fly under the radar and form solid bonds early in the game that could take them to the end. As for his gameplay, it's iffy, neutral).

1st: Molly (No surprise here, Molly is so far playing the best game on her tribe, She's found an idol and on top of that, She's made a Solid F4 with the guys and has positioned herself in that alliance so Zach is #4. Her Strategic game is the best on the tribe, and her social game is good so far. My only fear with Molly is that she gets (Matt'd) from season 1 of Berkshires where Matt and Tom merge into the 5 of Tyler, Brandon, Tisha, Bailey and Marissa. Regardless they were fucked, but Matt tried his hardest to save himself and still failed. (BTW don't make the immunity challenges ones where underdogs like Matt had no chance to save himself lol). So that's my only fear with Molly.

Great season, keep up the good working Therenny

Huh, that's weird, I wrote more than that but the rest of the comment didn't show up haha. Anyway, I love this blog. There are a lot of things you got absolutely right, but I think even more that are going to surprise you and you're going to love because of that. Thank you so much for writing this, I really do appreciate it, and things like this inspire me to keep working on projects such as this.
