Bad News... and Worst News Sep 25, 2009
imageI'm sure you all remember how depressed I was in my last blog post when I was nominated, along with ThomasNMn6 and 200Stars. Well, the final votes went like this:
15 - ThomasNMn6
14 - Hermes
13 - 200Stars

So I survived that round, didn't I. Well, here comes the bad news... I got nominated, ONCE AGAIN, and I'm up against 200Stars once more.

Remember that intense gasp I spoke of last time I got nominated? Well, this time, it was more like an excruciating fire in my rib cage. Yeah, I know what you're thinking... I'm over-reacting. You know, I probably am, but that's not the problem here!

My life is a competition. If someone told me that they could jump, I'd tell them that I could jump higher. I've been like this for quite sometime and it is quite entertaining for people to see me compete.

Okay, now I'm rambling. So, I was all confident about this eviction, taking the occasional break from the computer to help ease my fiery insides. People said that they'd keep me and I thought, "I GOT THIS IN THE BAG!"

Yeah. That's where the worst news come into play.

I got evicted. I'm 6th in my Casting game. I suck. FML.

I need a break from this before I enroll once more.

Let me know what you think. Do I have a mental illness? (Wouldn't doubt it) Do I take myself too seriously? (Perhaps) And does everyone hate me because I'm beautiful? (Evidently ;))

First Time Nominated Sep 24, 2009
imageSo. This being my first game on this site, I was unbelievably excited to HOPEFULLY make it to the final 4 :D Day after day, I watched as, people by people, would get nominated and then evicted. See, I was pretty naive. I just thought, "Nahhh, this would never happen to me!" How wrong was I.

We are now on the 8th day of my casting game and as I awoke from my slumber, I discovered a small, but extremely prominent question mark under my name. I do admit that I might have let out a very embarrassing gasp!

So now, you must all choose who you'd like to get rid of. Will it be the extremely active and unbelievably polite ThomasNMn6 who knows just about everything about this site? Or will it be the sweet and apparently innocent 200Stars, who, like me, just enrolled in her first game. Or it could even be the wonderful, handsome and jubilating Hermes, who perhaps loves his blackberry more than any human being on the face of this planet?

...

Oh wow, I am pretty conceded!

So, who will it be? I guess we'll find out in roughly ten hours!

Au revoir!

Life working at a movie theatre Sep 21, 2009
imageNever having to wake up early for work and never having to pay to go see the latest thriller: two things that I have found to be essential in my life. Well... apart from my new blackberry.

Working at a movie theatre has its plusses and minuses: I've never had to pay for a movie ever since I started working there and I get to see the latest movies before they are released in the box office. Unfortunately, I've had to work till 1 am MULTIPLE times, I've had shifts cancelled and shortened with very little notice and I have a permanent butter stench in my clothes.

I guess working at the movies can teach you some pretty obscure life lessons. I've learnt to never to stand too close to a fryer, how to deal with a herd of screaming children, and, of course, how to get butter stains out of my clothes.

Everyone assumes that my job must be easy: I get paid to watch movies. WRONG! I get paid to do slave work for hours at a time; sometimes involving cleaning up barf and kicking arcade machines until they start working again.

Don't get me wrong, I love my job but sometimes... I wonder how I'm still alive.

Let me know what you think! Would you want to work at a movie theatre? How was your experience working at the movies?

Ciao!
