Finally... Pittsburgh overcame Detroit in the Motor City, to become Stanley Cup Champions! What a moment it was to see Sidney Crosby hoist the cup in the air for the first time and be the youngest captain ever to hold the Stanley Cup. Congrats to Pittsburgh, they fought long and hard for it.
Well, for those who don't know it, I'm a big Calgary Flames fan... and I mean a big flames fan, and tonight I watched the Flames take on the Wild on TSN. A lot of intensity is what I saw in this game which kept it entertaining. Todd Bertuzzi hasn't scored a goal in 20 games, and it seemed as if he broke that no goal streak when the Flames scored in the first period... but turns out Langkow got the goal... Which is still great as it was now 1-0 Calgary! Minnesota retaliated a few minutes later with a goal of they're own... BOOO... but a minute later, is when we got yet another goal making it 2-1! The game went into overtime... when in what was a BEAUTIFUL goal, Bertuzzi broke his streak, and scores which makes the Flames win 2 games back to back which is AWESOME!
Well, I have to say the first day in this game was working out well... Everyone seemed to be nice and pretty cool and we all seemed to get along, until someone came along and posting minuses to people... It was a little annoying to see that people were giving them out early. Of course that got people talking. That night the most inactives got put up for eviction and that was no surprise, and on day three one of the most inactives got evicted. And then something interesting happened... I for one got called out on being a "mastermind" behind this game... interesting isn't it? But I guess how this is the game rolls isn't it? People trying to get others to turn and you and all... All in all this has been an interesting past few days in this game and I look forward to seeing what happens next...
