I had to stand up to some bullies today but I think my emotions may have gotten the best of me... Tell me what you think....
We have been back in school for a week now. I was in chemistry with my friend (a girl) sitting in a corner away from everyone else like we always do... Why were we isolated? Because my friend is a victim of bullying who is tormented day in and day out just because of the way she acts... She has a rather unique personality and she has ADHD so she can be a bit irritating sometime but she doesn't do anything worthy of the treatment she gets... They call her names and talk about her behind her back ALL THE TIME. Like I've told you guys before, I am an empath (someone extremely keen on other emotions) so It really affects me every time I am in a class with her because I just want to throw up knowing that everyone is snickering about my friend and picking on her....
She says it doesn't bother her but i know it does on the inside....
So today (during chemistry like I was saying) some guy came up to me and was like "So Jake what's it like, having Nicole as a lab partner?" And he looked at me with a smirk and laughed ... I glared back at him and said "It's pretty amazing." And kinda walked past him and pushed him out of the way... So at this point I was really ticked off... We went back to the classroom after our lab... Nicole (like always) forgot something in the lab and shouted out "Agh I forgot my jacket gotta to get it!" And she ran out of the classroom... Everyone kinda snickered.
I stood up and said:
You should all be ashamed of yourselves. She has been bullied since she moved to our district in 6th grade... I really hope you know that the things you do to her are the kinds if things that make people hurt themselves. She can't help the way she is. She puts up with your bull every single day and she just laughs it off because she is a much bigger person than most of you. If I witness any of you talking about her, making fun of her, or being rude to her I will go straight to the principle to report you childish behavior!
At that point the teach was sitting at her desk with her mouth wide open and everyone else was just silent. I said "Hey ms smith look in that corner quick!" When the teacher turned around. I flipped the whole class off and they just gasped. Then Nicole came back in with her goofy smile and I said "Hey Nicole! The whole class was just bragging about how great of an artist you are!" And everyone was like ".... Yeah yeah." And Nicole was blushing and was like "oh my gosh thank you!"

I feel like I did suck a rude thing because I know there a re a couple people int that class that aren't rude at all but. I had to get my message across.... What do y'all think?
