SHOPS SITUATION!

imageJust to keep everyone updated on what is going on. I wanted to give competing a go since I hadn't done it for a veryyyy long time, unfortunately this has meant I've been subjected to multiple accounts of bribery, intimidation, mockery, harassment and bullying from other shop owners.

They wanted me to drop so that they would be granted yet another free pass, giving them another easy week to gift all their stock to the same friends as they gifted in previous weeks.. I've seen plenty of tengagers complaining about the scarce availability of designs to buy so I tried to switch it up for everyone..

Obviously 2 of the shop owners have gone to extreme lengths in an attempt to push me out of the shops game, since I'm not supposedly "entitled" enough to move on.. I've been told there's further 1,000T$ to come from them (as you can see I haven't resorted to this and have tried to give the public reasonable prices).. I'm not quite sure what's going to happen later, I'm doing all I can to make it through, but anyone who does support my shop - thank you ever so much!

It has been a stressful week and it's a sad situation where it's either easy weeks where the owners gift the same friends or it's weeks like these where a newbie wants to compete and you're presented with sky high prices at 1K..

I agree that 1000T$ prices are pretty extreme but people are gonna do what they have to to keep their shop. It's all a game and I wish you all the best of luck :)

You may say your were giving reasonable price, Joe. But at the same time, you've done the same thing where you only gift the same people. You are just as guilty as they are of whatever it is they are guilty of. If the same people weren't getting gifted each week, nobody would complain. If shop owners posted at reasonable prices ($600ts is not reasonable, 300-500 is "reasonable"), nobody would complain. Tengaged shouldn't only be upset with shop owners, either. Designers allow users to use the designs that cause this. It's just a ginat mess that people care too much about honestly.

I had my shop almost a year ago I think... I believe it was in February.

Anyways it's really not easy to compete, especially when you're not super close to many of the known designers on Tengaged, and I utterly failed my first go at it.  I do agree though, it was annoying seeing the same people get gifted without much time for public sales. There would be about... One, maybe two public sales at a time when only three shops were competing, and the rest of the stock goes to multigifting. While I'm not all that into designs, it was still upsetting that people never had a chance to gift their friends designs.

So kudos to you, for making shops way more interesting this week. Unfortunately, I guess the lack of available designs led to shopowners getting away with outlandish prices this week. :S No disrespect to any of the shopowners!
